Other than calling people names in this forum, can you enlighten us what you have done to help the opposition cause or to vote out the pap or to help needy Singaporeans?

In one of your rational moments some time ago, you actually made quite a good suggestion. You suggested that we as individuals, should go and talk to our friends, relatives, colleagues, acquiantances, or even people we meet on the bus, plane, seminars, etc, and talk to them about the state SG has become because of the pap. I actually tried doing that and you know what was the "success rate"? For every 10 people, there was only 1 who agreed and willing to support opposition. The others were either non-commital, reluctant, full of praise for pap, apathetic, comfortable, ignorant, etc. That's what Singaporeans have become.

And do you think by berating those who are still supporting opposition, you are helping?

I suggest that you re-read my posts and find out ways to talk to people and how to convince them on not supporting a fascist political party such as the PAP. I can only think of one decent PAP cabinet minister and that is Tharman. Everyone else is fighting way over their league and even in a sport they are not suited for. This fact alone should allow you to open up the minds of those that you speak to.

The fact that the PAP has been bringing in FWs for the past 10 years should show people that this is a calculated move on the part of the PAPies and as long as they are in power, this process will continue unabated. The end result is loss of jobs and lower wages for Singaporeans.

Transportation, housing, education, healthcare and other amenities will be over crowded. We even have to spend $60billion to upgrade the MRT system to cater to these FWs. And we haven't even calculated the costs in terms of healthcare and education. The costs of these FWs to Singaporeans is staggering indeed and definitely much more than their contribution.

No other first world country imports in as many FWs as the PAPies have. The talk about our inverted pyramid age distribution is PAP hoodwinking at its best. For a country with a welfare system this may be an issue but for Singapore, this is not a major issue at all.

Learn about fascism and you will readily see the similarities between the PAPies and fascism. Indulge in some reading. Use your knowledge to share with people. The reason we are in the state we are today is simply because we are being governed by a fascist political party.

Our future lies in democracy and open and progressive thinking and not the brain washing and propaganda nonsense that is spewed by the PAPies and their media prostitutes.

If you have a 1 in 10 success rate then that means you need to improve. Even when I fail, I will at least have spawned some doubt in them about the PAP and that in itself is a start for them to start thinking and hopefully see things differently.

I doubt TKL really wanted to run for president, even if he did he didn't show that much seriousness. Or perhaps he gauged the reaction and found it wanting.

TKL wants to leave a legacy and avoid going down in the history books as "just another establishment man". When men grow old and they are not as horny as before, that's why they think about. Maybe like LKY he fears isolation.

Not sure how his mindset will fit into the mould of any of the current opposition parties.

TKL was for over 30 years a cadre member of the PAP. He had been involved in Politics for very long time and had been a shortlisted candidate for Marine Parade GRC. He was not picked. He was then "retired" and the chap from Prudential took over. He no longer draws an income from a GLC.
