Every human being is afraid of being lonely. The difference between you and the rest is you're prepared to admit.

A darling will only offer you a form of distraction away from the harsh realities of life, just like a baby in the dull and bored marriage. The only way to stop being afraid of loneliness is to face loneliness. When you've overcome loneliness, you're in a better frame of mind of challenge that Accenture guy.

There is a difference between aloneness and loneliness, aka 孤單與寂寞。When you summon enough courage to face aloneness, you will gain strength. But if you run away from aloneness, it will metamorphasize into loneliness. The moment you allow aloneness to grow into loneliness, you add a new ingredient into the pot - emptiness. And you will constantly have to feed that emptiness, which is why you're always looking for another girl's attention.
