From MOH report:

Case 43688, a 38 year-old male Bangladeshi national, has passed away on 7 July 2020. He had been conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital on 28 June after suffering a seizure, and subsequently developed intracranial haemorrhage. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 28 June. The preliminary cause of death is cardiorespiratory failure, pending further investigations by the Coroner. 1

[1] Only cases where the attending doctor or pathologist attributes the primary or underlying cause of death as due to COVID-19 infection will be added to the COVID-19 death count. This is consistent with international practice for classifying deaths.

Another case where it is quite clear that covid 19 was the cause of the cardiorespiratory failure. Imho, this should be classified as a covid 19 fatality. :cautious:

According to MOH, 26 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection. But for the other 14 who passed away, didn't they also die from complications due to COVID-19 infection? Why are they not included? :unsure:

Case 17168, a 62 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 14 July 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 30 April, and had a history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia. Sengkang General Hospital has reached out to his family and is extending assistance to them.

She had been conveyed to the National University Hospital’s emergency department on 15 July for reasons not related to COVID-19, and had a history of diabetes mellitus. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 16 July after her demise. The cause of death is intracerebral haemorrhage. [1]
