Thanks to PAP, there is an ample supply of face masks. My family and I have received enough free face masks from my RC.

You can also buy face masks from Watsons.

Still no change in Dorscon Alert Level.

When there is an outbreak resulting in the spread of an infectious disease worldwide, Singapore puts in place prevention and response plans.

As part of this plan, the ‘Disease Outbreak Response System Condition’ (DORSCON) is a colour-coded framework that shows the current disease situation. The framework provides us with general guidelines on what needs to be done to prevent and reduce the impact of infections.

DORSCON takes into account:

  • The current disease situation overseas
  • How transmissible the disease is
  • How likely it is to arrive in Singapore
  • What impact it may have on Singapore’s community

Looks like PAP wants Dorscon Orange to remain.

From MOH daily report:

There are 2 cases in the community today who are currently unlinked. Case 58125 is a security officer at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work, as well as visited the Singapore National Eye Centre for treatment of a non-related medical condition. Case 58138 is a temperature screener and swab assistant at Raffles Medical at Changi Airport Terminal 3, and had gone to work prior to hospital admission. Both cases were detected under our enhanced community testing to test all individuals aged 13 and above who are diagnosed with acute respiratory infection (ARI) at first presentation to a doctor. This allows us to identify infected individuals early and to quickly contain further spread.

While both cases work at Changi Airport Terminal 3, they had not interacted with each other, and epidemiological investigations so far have not established any link between them. As a precautionary measure, all individuals working at Changi Airport Terminal 3 who may have contact with travellers will be tested for COVID-19.

As travel volume is expected to pick up in the coming months, MOH has been in discussion with relevant agencies to ramp up Rostered Routine Testing of frontline staff working at Changi Airport. More details will be provided later.

So many imported cases how come don't jus stop foreigners come?

so many foreigners can get doctor letter ah from their countries certify have "claustrophobia" then encourage each other in FB grp - Singapore Hotel Quarantine Information & Experience - and share share stories of how they manage get SHN hotels upgraded by hounding the SHN hotline? How is it SHN*team is letting such disgusting behaviour go on so long????? How come our foreign talent all so sick one? China must have health check then give work permit - sg foreign talent got "claustrophobia" la, asthma la, this and that one by one all post video photos of victory lap show their upgrade hotel? knn most recent one the best - put in Shangrila then complain "no enough air or much natural light" tell all the people in group he complain SHN hotline and get Fairmont hotel and u always see this kind post other AMDK ask how to get then one by one all go do same? SG airport better go make some cubicle n put these people inside test to see really whether genuine or not. how come they fly so long airline no natural light no enough fresh air still can arrive safely never die?

all of them all encourage each other must go and get dr letter , certificate then can get anything they want. best part is they all share "success stories". Taxpayers money for all the transfers and then all the transfers means higher exposure no? One AMDK da best - say her SG hotel room worse than iraq baghdad room come on la u say sg quarantine hotel even the lousier ones can be worse than iraq baghdad?

Profile of the 5 imported cases on 4 Nov and questions to ask PAP:

1. 33 year old female dependent's pass holder from India. Travel history to UAE. This "dependent" is already 33 years old. Why is she still on a dependent's pass and allowed into Singapore with vast travel history?

2 24 year old male work pass holder from Switzerland. Travel history Switzerland. Seriously, does Singapore really need a 24 year old work pass holder? Is he an exceptionally brilliant scientist or economic guru?

3. One female work permit holder from Indonesia and two female work permit holders from Myanmar, with ages ranging from 27 to 33. These are most likely maids. Are they new hires or are they already employed in SG and allowed to travel back to their own countries and return to SG?
