That's your own bias. I didn't even attack YSL. Even give my advice which was derived from open source observations from HK. The results of such PR management is open for all to see.
You think there is "envy, jealousy" etc etc. You are really totally mistaken. Really nothing to envy about, especially so now that WP and YSL get into such trouble which will trouble them for many years to come.
I am just an observer now. It is just very unfortunate that WP has gotten into the wrong footing right after they have won more seats. Now, even CSM's initial speech will come back to haunt him. What can go wrong have gone wrong for WP. Nothing to do with anybody else "envy and jealousy", definitely not me. If you want to blame, the only one you could blame is WP itself.
I have told a few people, if I am a journalist, both PAP and WP will hate me dearly because I will ask them very sharp questions. It is a pretty common practice in other places like Taiwan and Hong Kong. But it seems that even with a very mild journalistic culture in Singapore, both PAP and WP have difficulties in coping with the PR front.
Many people thought that its because of the argue of one GRC in GE2011 that make me angry. Well, I am totally entitled to be angry because WP has sent a third rate team there without any intention to fight to win there as compared to NSP's resolve to fight to win there. In simple terms, WP is the spoiler there. I would not be that angry if at least YSL was sent there to fight and try to win. But nevertheless, I have prevented a three corner fight there even though I am angry back then. Never mind the details but that's the truth.
Well, in some ways, my anger has totally subsided because somehow, the comparative results between Marine Parade and MK have vindicated my point that WP is silly to play hardball to become spoiler in MK while they could have done very much better in Marine Parade which is just next to Aljunied and East Coast. They might have won MP if they just field a second rate team there! On hindsight, it is "lucky" that things turn out to be the way it is. If WP had listened to my reasoning and contested in MP, it would have more than 10 MPs by now. It may be good for opposition on the surface but WP may turn into an even more arrogant party which will ignore everyone else and play harder ball next round. WP members could only bang chests now for the missed opportunity whenever they talk about Marine Parade.
So, in conclusion, I really do not have any envy nor anger at WP at all. Maybe a bit of cynical about WP because it has shown that it really lacks strategic sense and mind in GE2011. Of course, somehow underneath that supposedly calm of "unity" and "discipline" lies massive scheming and backstabbing which put me in awe sometimes.
