Simple, Tommy Koh is part of the establishment, the peasants aren't. ST forum letters from critical peasants don't get published, and their FB posts will get POFMA'ed away with help from Zucky the Jew robot.

Prof Tommy Koh just finished reading another Book.

His Observations on FW in Singapore just caused the Govt and Employers Tens of millions of extra spending.

On his Facebook page on Monday morning (April 6), he Prof Tommy Koh wrote,

“The way Singapore treats its foreign workers is not First World but Third World.

The government has allowed their employers to transport them in flat bed trucks with no seats.

They stay in overcrowded dormitories and are packed likes sardines with 12 persons to a room.

The dormitories are not clean or sanitary.

The dormitories were like a time bomb waiting to explode.

They have now exploded with many infected workers.

Singapore should treat this as a wake up call to treat our indispensable foreign workers like a First World country should and not in the disgraceful way in which they are treated now.

I feel angry when I see foreign workers sitting on the ground eating their lunch.

I see exhausted foreign workers stretched out on the ground to rest.”

Foreign workers are not indispensable. The PAP has made them into that. No other country imports so many foreign workers as a ratio of their native population. All those countries that the PAP admires, eg Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, etc. they have not imported so many foreign workers. How have they done it, and why have we not been able to do the same thing?

have you tried figuring out the amount of Foreign Workers Levies Collected per month ??

say s$500/- levy per worker per month.

at for eg 200,000 workers , we are looking at
s$100m collection each month.

1m workers , we are looking at s$500m collection.

can collect dont waste :D

Correct, the more they can squeeze into the dorms, the more money for the PAP. Stupid idiots here are still wondering why the dorms are so crowded and consequently so filthy.

Now, ask yourself this question. Did you know the PAP was going to let in 200,000, 500,000, 1 million foreign workers? SO many here. Of course not. This thing did not happen over night. Yet, no white paper, no discussion in parliament, no news report that the plan was to let in so many FW. Yet, someone knew. Only a select few knew this was going to happen. And this select few are the ones that build the dorms and do the dorm business to house FW. No developer and construction companies will start multimillion dollar projects to build workers dorm, if they did not already receive the heads up from someone at MOM. These select few people knew how many were coming and that the PAP will sustain these large numbers, that's why they were confident in the lead time and committing money to it. Because these are all build by private companies, they are not subject to govt bidding, so no one knew the avalanche was coming. So, these fuckers quietly build the dorms, and companies quietly house their workers there. Dorm operators make money, PAP make money, companies make money, everyone happy happy. Until one weekend, you ride the MRT from Joo Koon station and wonder why the train is so crowded and there is no sinkies on it.

Hope Prof Tommy Koh will have the courage to write another piece on FB detailing who exactly are on the FoodChain benefiting financially from the plight of these Foreign Workers.

i hope he will start right from the bottom of the Food Chain , all the way to the Top.
