The italians' experience over Ingerland was obvious. It was really a game of men versus boys. They deserve the trophy after clawing back from an early goal.
But this english team is still young and can improve. I agree their lack of overseas exposure will cost them if they only play EPL. But more will play in Champ and Europa league and get used to it.
I think Southgate is the best manager for his country. Although he's tactically naive his relationship with the players and support from his countrymen are invaluable. The FA can always get someone more experienced like Holland to assist him. Bo pian... The other players of his generation rather be guest TV pundits (Shearer/Mcmanaman/Owen/Fowler) than take the managerial route.
Also I still cannot forgive Sven Erikson and Capello for squandering the chances of the last Golden Generation. England needs an Englishman at the helm
