Dr Toh Chin Chye Has Passed Away.

Leongsam said:
Nothing justifies falsifying evidence and locking someone up for 23 years without trial.

Who falsified evidence? The way PAP operates in parliament, only the inner circle is privy to what is going on. In the beginning, when more were done to improve the well being of the common people, you can give them the benefit of the doubt in what they tell. In the later years when they focus on enriching themselves and turn a deaf ear to all the hardship that is going on, until woken up from a disastrous election campaign, their words have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

50s 60s standard of living not so high can have ideology. Now try ideology people say you Siao. Look at Millionster. Paycut some already k p k b.

As Toh Chin Chye saw the problem clearly:

In a rare public interview in 1997 Radio Corporation of Singapore, Dr Toh passionately bemoaned the lack of idealism and creativity among the young and its implications for the future of Singapore. He said:

“I would say the generation of the ‘50s and ‘60s took the plunge into politics without ever calculating the costs of the risk and the benefits to be gained. They were driven by ideology.

Today’s generation has no culture and averse to taking political risk.

Really, an interest in politics is very necessary for the future.

But I cannot blame the present generations, because they see the heavy-handed response by the government to dissenting views, even though they know that these matters involve their daily lives.

So the result is that we have produced a younger generation who are meek and therefore very calculating.

They are less independent-thinking and lack in initiative.

It does not bode well for the emergence of future leaders in politics and business. Robots and computers can be programmed or if you like, can be trained.

But the trouble, of course, is that computers lack soul and what we need in Singapore is soul. Because it is soul that makes society.”

This is the guy who indirectly caused the influx of foreign nurses into Singapore...

If you speak to the older nurses, or mee-c as they were called at that time, this was the goon who downgraded nursing, claiming that Singapore does not need nurses to be that educated. So what happened was any Tom Dick and Harry could start as a assistant nurse and later upgrade to become a staff nurse. So by lowering the required educational standards of nurses, their salary went down as well. And not only that, working hours also became more unbearable and thus began the shortage local nurses. The agenda for this was because several years before he implemented this change, nurses (females!) were actually brave enough to form unions and go on strike against the government(that was the time when there were still many NZ and Brit nurses here)...we all know what happened to the PSA old union leaders as well...

So the next time you get sick or your relatives are admitted into hospital, do thank Mr Toh CC for having somebody who cant speak your language take care of you...

He lived too long Liao. Dam bloody bastard. Making millions suffer by lowering healthcare standards.

Will Old Man attend his funeral?

Old man had problems & diffs with him. He never really regarded him highly. He was not happy that Toh imposed a curfew after the race riots in 1963 ( I think), acc to the book Hard truths. Toh was then acting PM coz Lee was not around. Poor LHL was then struggling to go home when all the buses were stopped becuz of the curfew. He had to walk all the way home from school. He could have been waylaid into a cul-de-sac and chopped to pieces with a machete or an axe. For that, Old Man thot Toh was not steady in a nervous situation.

RIP Dr Toh...

His Most Famous Quote: I CANNOT BE A DUMB COW !

Had that happened at the cul de sac, it would have saved us a couple of million dollars now (sic!):D

Re: Dr Toh Chin Chye is dead...

TCC just like the rest of the founding fathers of the PAPpies died while keeping their evil secrets unto themselves. He's a fucking thief. He's veiled attempt at trying to look decent by pretending to ask for more leeway for the imprisoned slaves known as Singaporeans was a veiled attempt at clamouring for more money from his master. Nothing TCC did had any sincerity other than to comfort his own selfish self. A pathetic scum that dies an idiot because for the past many years of his vile life he was nothing more than a vegetable, not even capable to stand on his own two feet nor to wash his arse of the shit that he brought to this world.

All original PAPpies died without writing any memoirs except the master. All of them were so ashamed of what they did and didn't have the guts to cry otherwise. All were so ashamed that they had to beg their master for assistance before they died.

What a pitiful and vile bunch of crooks who took the best years from the lives of other patriots who would have made Singapore many times the success that it is today.

TCC, KNNPCB! :oIo::oIo::oIo:

Yong Nyuk Lin is LKY's brother-in-law! The scum married the gecko's sister!
Ong Eng Guan lost to LKY by one vote for the PM position. It was Toh Chin CHye that voted against Ong and instead Toh Chin CheeBye voted for LKY!
Ong Pang Boon was an LKY crony from the very start!

From GKS to Rajaratnam to Toh Chin Cheebye and their master, dont make the mistake of forgiving these bastards of mankind. These people killed and imprisoned hundreds of dedicated and honest Singaporeans. For such educated men, it is impossible that not one of them wrote their life stories - except for their master. They all had many things to hide from their family and their fellow countrymen.

All are scums and deserve nothing good unto them.

Not that I am evil. But I am quite happy to learnt of this.
Waited a long time.
No one can escape this ending. Lee Kuan Yew next?
