I was at City Square yesterday and a salesman pushed a brochure for the development known as "D-Tasek", going for RM500,000. I told him I couldn't buy because of the $1.00 million minimum purchase requirement imposed in May 2015. However, the salesman told me the development was registered before the RM$1.00 million minimum purchase took effect, and I could still purchase the unit for RM500,000.
I was in a rush and forgot to ask him. Does this mean that I can still buy a resale property in Johor for the minimum of RM500,000 instead ?
Would be pleased if one of you could clarify. The Johor thread is so long and I have no idea where to search for the information I wanted. I'm sorry if this issue has been raised before.
