Desa Tebrau

Hi : any one here care to suggest place around Desa that we can get some decent and healthy asian dinner ?Thanks

Its been in the works since god knows when la. Austin golf course not doing fantastic either. Bukit indah side is probably working out better.

From the historical snap shots, I notice the golf course is downsized by more than half compared to 15 years ago. The construction is actively on going at theme park from very recent photos, especially since last year. Likely to complete by end of this year. What is needed in this area is not more developments but preservation of green lungs and improvements to the basic infrastructure like road maintenance, drainage, street cleanliness and traffic control.

You are right. Anyway, cannot blame malpaso for behaving like his buddy vohkster aka huatgugu lately. He is just being jealous of the development around desa tebrau and BDO, the two best area at tebrau now. He is worrying about his troubled Setia Eco Casacadia, worst Mercury unit value have dropped further due to its bad layout. Still many unsold units left. Good part is finally we all can see his true colour.

I think Desa Tebrau's location is good but quality is only decent. Certainly it cannot compete with Setia Eco Cascadia or Eco Summer/Spring in terms of landscaping.

From historical snap shots from Google Earth, some tributaries appeared to be filled up by developers when they levelled the land. So environmental damage is definitely a contributing factor.

Austin Heights Water Theme Park. It looks like 70% complete as of Jun 2015. There are: water park, adventure park, amphitheater and possibly shops/small mall.

the completion of this so called water park had been delayed and delayed.

seriously given a developer's drive theme park unlike the developer is really capable like sunway, else in long run likely that it will .....

Just be patient in JB. It will eventually materialise. End 2015 is a comfortable target. If the pricing is right, and the place is well maintained, the crowd will come. There are not many theme parks at this part of JB to compete, not to mention the weather is getting hotter too. Water based activities will do well.

The golf course has been in the works forever. developer detik hartamas having lots of problems with johor contractors such as late deliveries etc for their projects. The golf course will eventually be subbed out to another company to run. Their road and infrastructure works are also possible causes for drainage and runoff problems, hence floods that you see these days further upstream .

Stay positive :) Things will improve but slowly in JB. From Google Earth, there are quite a lot of greenery removal in the entire area in recent years so a slower pace of urbanisation is appreciated. We are in the El Nino phase so flood should be less frequent and less damaging in the next few years.

Here are some photos of the new multi-storey carpark and viaduct at Aeon Tebrau (from their official facebook). The old carpark should be in the process of being converted into more $hop$.

Cool it has been awhile didn't drop by JB. Will go and look see look see... :)

Aeon Tebrau, plenty of parking space now, but still same old shops. Things in Aeon are not really cheap, I only buy those on offer then is worthwhile.
Anyone of you have any good contact for installation of CCTV that you can share ? Good if you can also provide contacts for Mitsubishi or Daikin aircon as well as windows grilling.

Somebody just has to pay for the air-con, cleanliness, security, new carpark and roads etc. More shops should be added by 2017 at the extension. It is all about different shopping experience with friends and families in an air-con mall versus online purchase for cheapest deals at home. Bandar Dato Onn will have its own Aeon mall too. The malls have to re-invent themselves. Tebrau is developing nicely with houses, malls, theme park, small business and industrial parks. Have fun with your renovation ;)

Wah.... sure or not? BDO owner huat liao arr. Those jokers who condemn BDO previously have to eat back their words liao....LOL.

Prices seem to have stagnated this year, even for landed properties. Only difference is the size of new launches are getting smaller. Buying sentiment is simply weak and there are too many units competing for rental. There will be certainly more shopping options when the malls are built or upgraded. The roads must be enhanced if not additional amenities will attract more cars to jam up the roads.

Use steering wheel lock in JB. S$20+ only. These type of money should not save.

Four more theme parks for Iskandar Malaysia
Zazali Musa
The Star/ANNFriday, Aug 14, 2015

KULAIJAYA - Plans are in the pipeline to turn Iskandar Malaysia into a regional theme park hub with more theme parks to be set up in the economic growth corridor.

Iskandar Regional Development Authority (Irda) chief executive officer Datuk Ismail Ibrahim said the growth corridor would have eight theme parks within the next three to five years.

He said talks were going on between Irda and theme park operators from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Europe and North America to set up their theme parks in Iskandar Malaysia.

"The size of the new theme parks will range between 20.23 ha and 40.46ha and they could be either outdoor or indoor theme parks," Ismail told a press conference at the launch of the SME City @ Indahpura here.

He said the eight parks included the existing Legoland Malaysia Theme Park, the Hello Kitty Indoor Theme @ Puteri Harbour, the Angry Birds @ JBCC and the water theme park currently under construction at Taman Mount Austin.

Ismail said that the developer of the theme park in Taman Mount Austin was now in discussion with an international theme park operator to introduce the brand name at the park.

"The theme parks in Iskandar Malaysia will cater for all age groups and the whole family including youngsters, teenagers and adults," said Ismail.

He said one of the theme parks would be an indoor IT-based theme park similar to a theme park in Japan, which was popular with the IT-savvy youths and those into video games.

Ismail said the investment for the new theme parks ranged from RM500mil (S$174 mil) per project and could go up to RM1bil depending on the size of the theme park.

Most likely the original remote signal was copied at the car wash outlet and the owner was followed to the shopping mall. This is not the first occurrence there so it is likely there is a syndicate operating like this.
