I used to cycle too. I had a racing bike type and cycle to and fro between campus and home when I was young. I obeyed all traffic rules and kept to the left edge of the road so as to not obstruct any vehicles coming from behind. I always gave ways to other vehicles and took my time to enjoy the ride. I had no problem in all those years when I cycle.

Problem with these idiots nowadays is that they ride on Singapore roads thinking that they are in USA/Europe or other countries. That is where the problem starts.
