IPutting aside all that UN reference, online dick definitions etc, my views are simple.!
First, you have one lockeliberal yelping shrilly that the UN hunger strike is not a strike because they used "fast" in their call. He doesn't seem to know the basic and what should be painfully obvious, that a hunger strike is nothing more than a fast, a political fast. But yet, he wants to argue.
Now we have a late entrant expert like you with your "views". It is not about "views". It is about
informed views. I hope you are intelligent enough to know the difference.
Your views are worth a complete fuck off if they are not referenced or sourced. Try submitting a thesis or an essay with your "views" and see whether you can graduate.
All around the world, people have carried out and are carrying out hunger strikes with zero intention of dying.
In their Tianmen Square Hunger Strike declaration dtd 2 June 1989, Liu Xiaobo, Zhou Duo, Hou Dejian, Gao Xin, student leaders of the Tiananmen Square protests, announced a hunger strike where they specified a duration of three day, from 1400hrs 2 June to 1400hrs 5 June 1989. Like the one day UN led hunger strikes and the thousands of hunger strikes carried out around the world, they had no intention of dying. In fact, this is what they state in their June 1989 Hunger Strike declaration:
"We are on hunger strike. We protest, we appeal, we repent. We are not in search of death; we are looking for real life."
There are even relay hunger strike where people take turns to carry out their strikes with absolutely no intentions of dying.
Ghandi consumed lemon juice in his hunger strikes. Bobby Sands consumed salt to keep him going. Hunger strikers consume sugared water, glucose, coffee, tea, milk and other liquids during their strikes to keep them going. There's nothing abnormal about this.
As I have said, seeking comfort in each other's company and in a collective refuge of continued ignorance and strident but baseless shrills and loud yelps does not make you or your buddies right nor will it change the rules of hunger strikes. All it does is that it guarantees the four of you a Nobel Peace....forget that last statement. You probably won't understand the brilliance behind it.
BTW, with your entry, I no longer just feel like a reincarnated Einstein. I feel like an Einstein and Stephen Hawkings combined.
Again please pardon me. While humility is my greatest gift, it is hard to remain humble in the company of circus clowns who think that their uninformed but strident views will change the world and rules of hunger strikes or that braying loudly together will change a donkey to a stallion or a stallion to an ass.
Cheers bro. You have a good day too.
PS: Don't forget to thank me when you get your Nobel Peace Prize for your expertise on hunger strikes.
