The bible is only full of contradictions if one chose to read it literally. If its read with the understanding of its intent which is God's love for his people and read in the context of 2000 to 5000 years ago. Than it can be understood of why its written tat way.

If the thread starter just wants to be anti christian n show discord by literally quoting the bible which main stream christians dont even follow like eating pork. Giving tithes etc. Than u r a bigger idiot n clown than the pap dogs who sprout shit in this forum.

The word "literally" needs to be explained. The Bible should be read in a literal way, by which is meant according to its literary genre, in its most natural sense and plain sense i.e. the historical-grammatical approach. Much damage has been done when an overly wooden literal approach is taken, or the extreme allegorical approach is taken. Both are irresponsible ways of interpreting the Bible.

I know Catholic church not compulsory to tithe. Do you consider orthodox and fundamentalists mainstream as well?
