Yes please don't do it now because she's all alone at home with the dog and very uptight with the impending flood and possible burglars she's ready to shoot anything that moves.

KYP, I understand that Thailand gives Singapore passport only 90 days per year for tourist visa. I mean they do calculate it even say you come for just 7 dyas and then leave and then come back for 5 days and then leave and then come back for 25 days. I mean they add them all up. Sometimes you get one fucker who counts and may get into trouble. I have experienced once like this before long time ago but I was within the 90days. I believe I am not wrong to say this.

I'm on Tourist Visa. I need to exit Thailand every 3 months.

My Sg DL allows me to ride up to 200 cc. I'm not sure if I use my Sg DL to ride bikes in Thailand, I can ride beyond 200 cc.

You're wrong, of course. My passport has so many Tourist Visas that I think she will need a calculator to count...hehe.

SG DL confirm recognized legally in Thailand as long as you do not stay more than 90 days. If you exit LOS every 90 days, then it is not a problem.
With Thai DL for motorcycle, you can ride any class motorbikes.

On the tourist visa, I believe Joe is referring to Visa on Arrival type which is 30 days for SG passport. Visa on Arrivals type have a limit of 90 days within the last 180 days. Means within the last 180 days, you are only allow to stay maximum of 90 days. For tourist visas (those with a sticker) applied at the embassies, I think thereare also a limit but not sure how many days. Yes, the Immigration will count. They don't use calculator, they use a pen and write on the passport numbers of days and highlight the days with a highlighter. My old passport was like this. :p

Long term solution, find your pharmacist partner and get a marriage visa.:D

It's not termed "visa on arrival"; it's "visa exempt".

Visa on arrival is a different category relevant to the PRCs, not ASEAN members. And I believe it's only up to 14 days.

The 90/180 days is an old rule that was applicable to only "visa exempt".

As for the number of visas you can apply per calendar year, it all depends on the embassy issuing the visa. The scenario that Joe painted, i.e. 90 days/year, is something that the RTE in Singapore practises. RTE in other countries have different policies.

How did you manage to switch to a Non-B ?

"How did you manage to switch to a Non-B ?"

by becoming an overage student. :)

previously, was on Non-B (Work permit) for 4 years with a 5 month break in between.

I see. I was offered a package too - 19,000 baht.
Khao Jai. Reasonable price, as long as they get the job done. Have to add THB 1900 for each 90 days extension or more for 1 year type (straight away chop 1 year).

For first year, you actually get 3 months + 12 months and need to apply visa at embassies outside LOS. For second year onward, you can do it in LOS. Can apply DL with this visa.

As of last night my house in Ramintra Soi 5 is still dry and no sign from the drain of any coming flood.

My factory I heard is that the Klong 4 had overflowed and broke its bank and water rising. Outside my factory the small Soi is completely flooded to more than half meter and inaccessible to even pickup trucks. As we built an inner flood wall of about 1m inside the factory compound, the flood had still not hit the wall yet and is still outside the Soi. However flood water had already started to enter the factory through inside drains meaning it had flooded most drains and is trying to get our through any openings in the drains. We had increased the number of pumps from 4 to 10 but it seem that's all we can do now because it is totally inaccessible. The pumps are holding on well and some parts in the factory has water that's ankle high. We hope that all the water that's coming and no more, meaning "please don't break anymore dykes!"

Breaking News, TV3 reported the access water will be diverted to the eastern of BKK to the Bang Pa Kong River. Areas affected will be the minburi, lat krabang and surround areas. Hopefully, this will reduce the burden of inner BKK absorbing all flood water in one shot.

Lat Krabang is less than 20 km from where I live.

When I look at the flood map from thaivisa website ingot scared because it seem that my moobaan in Ramintra Soi 5 had been surrounded by floods.

Towards King Kaew side or Sri Nakarin side? If King Kaew side, can get ready to stock up provision. If Sri Nakarin side, no news yet.
