Yes, very true and very real. Natural disasters do happen. See many good things and bad things also.
Good things, seeing many strangers helping each other without expecting anything in return. See people from opposite faiths coming together united to solve this problem. There is a mosque in Pattaya who has started their donating campaign to help the Ayuthaya victims. Also, many non-Thais volunteer to go to the flood areas to help out.
Bad things, also see, some looting did occurred when owners are not at home (my case was the Cambodian FTs). Opportunist businessmen going around selling service/things in need, sandbags, pumps, containers, storage areas, lorries at cut throat price.
Anyway, it's a good experience for me not to take things for granted. Wish everyone good health and may this be over soon.(Cos' i have not been able to do my laundry for last few days!)
