I am known to be a Democratic Socialist. Democracy comes before Socialism. Traditionally, people regard us as "Leftist" or "Center-Left" politically.

In recent years, more people come up to me and ask me whether I am a "Woke". They thought all leftists are Woke. They are mistaken.

Interestingly, somehow, people start to identify Wokeism with Marxism.

Wokeism is loosely defined as an attitude which is extremely sensitive to "discrimination, social and political unfairness" with a strong sense of self righteousness in their beliefs so much so that they would in turn end up in activating a Cancel Culture.

On the extreme of Wokeism is ironically, authoritarian or dictatorship. They would dictate to everyone what is right and what is wrong. It's ironic that Wokes didn't voice out against the unscientific and high handed discrimination of Unvax due to Vaccine Mandates. Their self righteousness in getting what they want overwhelmed their pseudoe narratives of "Respect, Inclusiveness, Social Injustice and Inequalities".

Nope. I am a highly awaken person but definitely not a Woke. Wokeism is easily manipulated by people with different agendas who may not really believe in the Core Values of progressive humanity.

Meeting with a veteran Hong Kong politician. Great sharing of political experiences and past historical encounters.

Mr. Raymond Wong is legendary in his own rights. Most people would only remember his fiery speeches and aggressive posturing in Hong Kong Legislative Council but in person, he is actually quite easy going, witty, knowledgeable and compassionate.

Beneath that showmanship belies the knowledge, logic and wisdom.

Incidentally, he was the founding leader of Hong Kong's People Power while I am one of the founders of People's Power Party Singapore.

Yes, Biden is finished as I predicted a week ago but no, I don't own a crystal ball.

It's just a natural logical deduction based on common sense and common understanding of human mindsets.

Will such move turn the tide against Trump? I seriously doubt so unless something drastic happens in the coming weeks.

This is the Excess Deaths Comparison Chart that MOH has neither disputed nor commented on.

It shows a High Correlations of Excess Deaths in post Vaccination period compared to pre Vaccination period.

Correlation is not Causation BUT Causation DEFINITELY effects High Correlations. When High Correlations appear, then it is considered as a very significant and important "Signal" that cannot be ignored.

There is absolutely No Way for anyone to ascertain ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that all these Excess Deaths are caused by Vaccination or otherwise because there is no longer a possibility of having a Randomized Double Blind Controlled trial when over 90% of people are vax.

Unless we could establish how to determine a death is due to Vaccination and do a thorough autopsy for EVERY DEATH occuring to determine whether it is due to Vax, it would be totally IMPOSSIBLE to determine the casual relationship.

Thus it is really asking for the impossible to say in all certainty whether these Excess Deaths are caused by Vaccination or not! One could not possibly say in all certainty that it's not due to vaccination as well.

What we could have is at Best a data set which shows High Correlations. In such Realistic constraints, we should form our judgement wisely to err on the safe side.

This is my reasoning for urging MOH to suspend the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.

Young Tea Lovers

Over the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that young couples have visited my humble pop up shop at Katong Shopping Centre to but tea.

One couple are switching from coffee to tea because of digestive issues. I recommended them Akbar Premium Earl Grey tea and they love it. Earl Grey will help with digestion after meals and soothing to the stomach, cutting down on bloating.

The other young couples are basically tea lovers. Earl Grey, Jasmine Rose, Taiwanese Oolong etc, after tasting these teas, they wanted to buy all of them!

I am happy not only because I have close some sales but most importantly, there are young people who start to appreciate tea.

Singapore has a strong coffee culture and most youngsters drink coffee instead of tea, except for the sweeten bubble tea.

Most of my customers are from the older generation, above 50 years old who are more health conscious and could appreciate different types of tea for health benefits.

I hope I could promote tea to more youngsters as a healthy drink with less or no sugar at all, instead of selling tea as some fanciful packages.

Note:

All good things will have to come to an end. Most likely, my pop up shop at Katong Shopping Centre will cease operations by the end of this week or next.

GMS highlights a secret contract.

The "Secret Contract" signed between South Africa and P f i zer has been released after the court ordered the South African government to do so.

On page 21 of this 46 pages of contract, it stated specifically that:

"Purchaser acknowledges that the Vaccine and materials related to the Vaccine, and their components and constituent materials are being rapidly developed due to the emergency circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to be studied after provision of the Vaccine to Purchaser under this Agreement. Purchaser further acknowledges that the long-term effects and efficacy of the Vaccine are not currently known and that there may be adverse effects of the Vaccine that are not currently known. Further, to the extent applicable, Purchaser acknowledges that the Product shall not be serialized."

It basically implies that:

1) The vaccines were basically still under "experimental study"

2) There was no Long Term Data on Safety and Efficacy at all

3) They basically didn't know about the long term Efficacy and Safety aspects of the vaccine!

If this is true, why did ALL governments in the world made the BASELESS CLAIM that the vaccine is "Safe and Effective"???!!!

This is really outrageous!

Questions to Ministry of Health

I want to ask the Ministry of Health the following Questions:

1) Will they reveal their contract signed with Pfizer over the purchase of the COVID-19 vaccines?

2) South Africa has released their "secret contract" signed with Pfizer. Did MOH sign similar contract with the similar clauses stated as in South Africa's contract, shown in the picture below?

3) If so, with the acknowledgement that there is absolutely no knowledge of long term efficacy and side effects, on what basis did MOH insist that the vaccine is "Safe and Effective" at the beginning of the rollout?

4) This specific clause also implies that the vaccine is still under study after the rollout and thus it should be considered as "experimental" in nature. On what basis did MOH decide to push for 100% vaccination rate using VDS and No Jab No Job rule if the vaccine was still under study?

This South African "Secret Contract" was released to public after NGO Health Justice Initiative in South Africa has gone to court and gotten the court order to force the South African government to make public the contract it has signed with Pfizer. It was campaigning against public health inequality in which pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer has been overcharging South Africa with harsh contract terms.

Jamus Lim is totally misguided.

Lim Tean didn't "criticize the child for wanting to be part of the nation". I guess he didn't really read what Lim Tean has posted.

Lim Tean actually welcome the child's enthusiasm but criticized the Tg Pagar Town Council instead.

As an establishment, we promote National Identity and there are many Singapore children available to become the poster boy or girl for the banner. In terms of National Identity, it is pretty clear cut where the line is drawn.

Unfortunately or luckily Lim Tean isn't a Minister with the power to issue POFMA.

Marine Parade Free Shuttle Bus Service Costing

$1 million for 7 service lines for 1 year.

Free Shuttle Bus service runs for 5 days a week for 6 hours (10am to 4pm)

Cost of each bus service per year is:

$1m / 7 = $142,857.14

1 year has 52 weeks. Number of service days per year = 52 x 5= 260 days

Operation Cost per day per service line:

$142,857.14 / 260 = $549.45

Operation Cost per hour service:

$549.45 / 6 = $91.58

So how many rides could the 14 seater bus serve per hour?

On a side note, for a minibus service to cost almost $12K per month for a 5 day week, 6 hours per day service line is really expensive! But if taking into consideration for scoring political points, that's just peanuts. However, why should CDC and gov pay for it?
