Why do peaches get all the attention? Nectarines are just as nutritious and taste mind-blowingly similar (in fact, they can be used interchangeably in just about any recipe). The only real difference between the fruits is peach’s fuzzy skin, so this summer, we’re putting the underdog in the spotlight. Here are 28 nectarine recipes to whip up while they’re in season. They’ll taste their most delicious through the end of August.

  • Why We Love It: crowd-pleaser, special occasion-worthy
If this recipe doesn't make you want to host an alfresco dinner party, we don't know what will. It's impossibly summery, thanks to nectarines, cherry tomatoes and sweet yellow corn.

  • Time Commitment: 25 minutes
  • Why We Love It: <30 minutes, vegetarian, beginner-friendly

10. Grilled Chicken with Nectarine Relish

  • Time Commitment: 25 minutes
  • Why We Love It: <30 minutes, high protein, <10 ingredients
Don’t feel like firing up the barbecue on a weeknight? Use a grill pan on the stovetop instead. (We’re also betting that pickled red onions in the relish would taste just as divine as raw, BTW.)

HOW SWEET EATS

11. Nectarine and Fig Summer Salad with Crispy Pancetta

  • Time Commitment: 35 minutes
  • Why We Love It: special occasion-worthy, beginner-friendly
Not only are there sliced nectarines in the salad, but the whole thing is also tossed in a sweet, tangy nectarine vinaigrette. The dressing comes together in a blender or food processor and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.

HALF BAKED HARVEST

12. Honey-Ginger Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa

  • Time Commitment: 35 minutes
  • Why We Love It: high protein, crowd-pleaser, special occasion-worthy
Not to steal the spotlight from the salmon, but we’re most psyched about the uber-versatile salsa. We’d serve it with tortilla chips, use it to top carnitas tacos, add a scoop or two to a green salad or tuck it into a vegetarian quesadilla.

GMS was a bit skeptical. :o-o:

I was a bit skeptical when people were sending the quoted message around yesterday, saying that ST Sports has actually put this part in print.

This actually goes against the PAPA's public narrative that the V is "Safe".

But I guess such unpleasant experiences are pretty widespread so much so that you can't possibly hide anymore. Just have to spin it positively to say it's small temporary issue as people here still can win a medal after suffering this!

Well some win medals, some healthy athletes dropped dead and it is due to anything but the V! We have just lost an ex National runner at a relatively young age, fallen dead from heart attack during his jogging session. It must be some other reasons and it must not be V. Furthermore, many other athletes dropped dead suddenly all over the world in the past few months as well, so this is nothing new and there is no evidence it is related to V. Never mind if we can't find out exactly why but it must not be V.

The V is very Safe and Effective, but don't take my word for it as I am UnV. I am not responsible for anything that happens to you but just follow PAP's song of good gospel.

GMS respects individual's choice.

Yes, respect individual's choice. Fatality from CV is below 5% in the world, below 0.6% in SG and most of these are people with chronic pre existing conditions.

Such risks could be mitigated by proper Early Treatment Protocol which establishment refused to acknowledge.

NEW: CDC guidelines have been revised and COVID rules have been relaxed.

And there it is… “unvaccinated people now have the same guidance as vaccinated people.”

GMS is concerned about safety of pregnant women. :cautious:

Goh Meng Seng

12 August at 13:08 ·

This report is totally irrelevant!

When we are talking about V for pregnant women, it is not about mild side effects anymore. We are more concerned about safety of the V to the babies instead!

The comparison between V non pregnant women vs V pregnant women is TOTALLY irrelevant!

The correct study should be comparison between UnV women vs V pregnant women, which group has higher rate of still birth, perinatal mortality, neonatal mortality as well as infant mortality!

If everyone is V, then the only proper way to make comparisons is to compare pre V period vs post V period.

The latest data is out for SG and it is kind of worrying.

Hopefully GMS has found other data to allay his concerns for pregnant women. :coffee:

GMS is worried about what the conservatives are worried about. :cautious:

This is exactly what the conservatives are worried about.

It is not in our National interest to go down this route.

As much as my religious precepts forbid illicit or illegitimate sexual conducts which is against normal morals, I am ok to repeal 377A as long as there is a cap on further promotion of LGBTQ agenda towards this final end.

GMS predicts a tsunami of issues. :cautious:

Here it comes, there will be a Tsunami of issues with that single poke.

AWARE should rename itself and its purpose instead of masquerading itself as fighting and defending women's rights, it is basically a covert front organization to push for LGBTQ agenda.
