GMS asks if Singapore is a "Migrant Country.:coffee::biggrin:

Singapore is a "Migrant Country"?
Is this "Real History"? Nope. This is pure propaganda and self serving political narrative created by PAP to justify its current crazy aggressive immigration policy!
I have live through this part of history.
It was exceptionally difficult to get PRs in the 1970s and 1980s. It was only when GCT became the PM, then he opened the floodgates.
Foreign workers or labour as "non residents" were rare. Only the shipyard and construction sectors were employing them. It was not until 1980 that we started to increase the number of foreign labour aggressively.
These are the HARD TRUTH. For a young small nation like Singapore, we wanted to build and strengthen our National Identity and Core Values. Our pioneer leaders from PAP understood this very well and that is why Hon Sui Sen, Dr Goh Kheng Swee and Lee Kuang Yew resisted over reliance on foreign labour right up to 1989.
So don't just read propaganda. Study the Real Facts.

3pm today, Instagram Live Chat with Walid Abdullah.
To watch this Live Chat, just go to Instagram and search walid.abdullah
TTWW’s GE series continues with one of Singapore’s most colourful veteran politicians, Goh Meng Seng, from the People’s Power Party. PPP has announced its intentions to contest in Tampines, in what is likely to be a multi-cornered fight. We will discuss his party platform, why Tampines, and all other GE matters!
6 March 2025, 3pm.
Also! Was curious what you think about a multi-cornered fight. Should PPP come to Tampines, if the WP is already contesting?

I have done alot of Live Recording for FB and I am quite familiar with using handphone as camera.
I was quite surprised that the voice recording of Shanmugam was quite clear as compared to the activist, even though he was slightly further away from the camera.
It is also sound quite clear to me that the voice of the activist was boosted using software.
I was quite puzzled and it was not until someone pointed out to me that there seems to be a wireless microphone clipped and hidden.
Well, is this really a hidden microphone?

Public Statement
We are alerted to the following person under the Facebook identity "Steven Lim" who has made derogatory racist remarks against our young member Vere Nathan under the comment section in the news video report posted under the Chinese news channel "8视界新闻新加坡 8world News".
https://www.facebook.com/share/1ANX9xTAhg/
(https://www.facebook.com/share/r/15us8FnYvi/)
Although most of the disparaging racist remarks have been removed, we would like to remind "Steven Lim" that his racist remarks are not taken lightly and he might have breached the law under Maintenance of Religious Harmony Act (MRHA).
We understand the Elections Fever is heating up but regardless of which party we support, we should also maintain basic decorum in our expression of views and support for the respective political parties.
Indulging in racist slurs and remarks are totally unnecessary and not our Singapore way of expression.
We have decided not to take actions against Steven Lim's trespasses now but we will reserve our full rights in pursuing the matter if he persists in making unwarranted racist remarks against our members.
We would also want to remind our supporters to express their support in a measured and socially responsible way in the digital world.
We love Singapore and we don't want to create unnecessary irreparable social cracks in our Nation.

Self Denial
The attached is a post written by Calvin Cheng.
Calvin is one of the most ardent Pro - COVID-19 vaccination "influencer" in Singapore, up to a point that he would consider people like me, who are more cautious and Pro-Safe Vax, as "murderer" when I was merely putting up views of caution with regards to these mRna Vaccines and protested against VDS and No Jab No Job Mandates.
I have explained the potential risks in these mRna Vaccines which has wide bio distribution that could be the real issue of Mechanics of Harm.
I have explained lipid nanoparticles are toxic and contrary to what those experts have said, the spike proteins itself is toxic.
I have even shown the massive signals of potential harms from various sources which includes our alarming High Excess Deaths numbers up to 2023 and 2024.
There are lots of scientific studies published which show what could have went wrong with these Covid Vaccines and I am confident that even more research papers will surface in the coming months and years to show how these mRna Vaccines might have done great harm.
For an intelligent guy like Calvin who believes in "science", there is no "bad luck" in science but only cause and effects.
Luck only appears in gambling but even gambling is an art of statistical manipulations.
He got one important thing right though, Stop putting poisons into your body!
The following is my comment on his post:
"There is no such thing as "bad luck". It's unscientific to push all these to "bad luck".
You are right to say that we should stop putting "poisons" into our body. But I am surprised you didn't even suspect that it's the jab with toxic things that you put into your body that is giving you all these "bad luck".
It was well studied and even predicted with that scientific method of cause and effects, nothing to do with bad luck.
But you are right that no point to worry on something you can't control... What's done cannot be undone. What jabbed cannot be unjabbed...
Just focus on keeping yourself happy. What will be will be."

Calling Public Support in Sembawang West SMC for Dr Chee Soon Juan
Without prejudice and disrespect to other possible opposition contender in Sembawang West SMC, I hereby putting forward my support for Dr Chee in Sembawang West SMC.
We should reject PAP's attempt to deprive of good opposition leaders to enter Parliament by massive Gerrymandering and we should stand as One People to give PAP the strongest signal that in this new era, we despise such act.
The Best Way to show PAP that such tactic is totally undesirable is to vote in the very person whom they are trying to stop from entering Parliament, in spite of all odds
I hereby making a call to All my supporters who live in Sembawang West SMC, I am urging all of you to support Dr Chee (SDP) and give him your vote.
I know many of you are unhappy that other opposition parties did not stand up against the VDS and No Jab No Job vaccine mandate but the biggest culprit is PAP. In particular, the Minister of Health Ong Ye Kang is the anchor minister in Sembawang.
Please do not void your votes in Sembawang West SMC. Please support Dr Chee Soon Juan in Sembawang West SMC.
We will need allies in Parliament to stop the next possible No Jab Go Jail scenario when the next pandemic comes.

Tampines Encounters II
I have never expected such a strong response from Mr Baey YK to my previous post on our walkabout in Tampines North on Saturday.
Actually, the post wasn't just about him but more about some of the interactions we had with residents.
Picking Rubbish - Wayang? Wrong Priorities? Or just Pure Incompetency?
Well for the records, I guess his "spies" must have heard wrongly or totally misinformed. I could only remember we only talked about Baey, as the MP walking pass to pick rubbish to one of the many tables after I met Baey. Someone whispered "Wayang!" and I just exclamined "Wayang?" And we smile. I have no interest to go around telling residents about their MP going around to wayang because I believe Singaporeans have a brain to decide.
But since Baey has brought this issue up, I will put this in proper perspective:
1) Singaporeans have seen PAP MPs going around to wipe tables, sweep floors, pushing cart etc and most of us just laugh it off.... Wayang? It's a matter of perceptions.
2) If MPs like Baey going around to pick up rubbish is just a complement to Town Council's work, then we would like to know how often do PAP MPs do such things? Or only when GE is near then we start to see PAP MPs doing such things? Is this a SOP or what?
3) If this is just one of the one off GE-coming activities, then it's up to residents to decide whether this is just the wiping tables and sweeping floor wayang.
4) If this is really a routine SOP, then there are TWO ISSUES here:
A) Tax payers paying over $500K annual salary to a Minister of State to go around picking up rubbish as part of the routine? This is really a misappropriation of priorities!
B) Does it mean the Town Council is so incompetent in maintaining the cleanliness of the town so much so that we need to mobilize their MPs or Ministers to go around picking up rubbish?
5) As for the Town Hall GE debate idea, it wasn't brought up by me but the residents whom Baey is the MP representing them! I have challenged Mah Bow Tan to debate on HDB policies before but he just Siam. A total of THREE TIMES. I know pretty well most PAP MPs and even Ministers aren't good at debates, they will have no interest to do it. They are just pure technocrats, not politicians. Thus I told the group of residents PPP is definitely ready to have Town Hall GE Policy debate with all other contestants, but I doubt PAP would dare to accept the challenge.
6) Baey claims that there is no need for such debate because he has been giving policy talks regularly at Happy Hawkers coffeeshop. Yes, I know but that's not what your residents want! 唱獨角戲? Who is interested in that? There is no contrast and compare.
Well I have only one thing to say to the residents of Tampines, see? What did I tell you? PAP MPs like Baey will not want a Town Hall GE debate! So they are the ones who will disappoint you, not us! You should know who to vote now.
My final words to Mr Baey, don't feel so uneasy and insecure just because I am doing my rounds in your "territory", so much so that you have to spy on us on what we are talking to the residents? (Else how would you have such idea we are going around telling people you are wayang?)
Well some residents are saying you are "hard working" going round the constituency but I guess that picking up rubbish activity is just a bit overdoing it.
Most importantly, despite all your good PR work, your residents are still complaining your Town Council is not solving problems for them but kicking them around like football but nothing solved.
Wayang or not, I will leave it to the residents to judge but Wrong Priorities and Pure Incompetency of your Town Council or not, that's pretty worrying.
Goh Meng Seng
