Jail is nothing new. More likely to go in sit for few weeks or months for drug offence as he repeat offender for drugs, rather than fire gun case.

Was about to post this as a warning for vehicle owners in siam lor. Illegal vehicle modifications now include non-standard approved tyres. For cars, I not sure.
For motorcycle, it is the ultra slim tyres favored by the motor kids aka Dek Waen (literally mean round kids). This used to be ok cos mata mainly catch modified exhaust pipes and not tyres. Now unapproved tyres also catch.
Accordingly to some fb users, slim tyres all along is illegal, just that not enforced. This is one of the many cases of mata zha fit people suddenly wake up one morning and decide to enforce certain old and never enforced law. The other one is wearing helmet and blue led lights. Enforcement depend on mood.

Unfortunately, today all my favorite makan joints either closed or very crowded. End up went to Naklua seafood market (also very crowded) and have usual fried basil pork with egg and rice.
Bought a kg (50 baht) of Hoi talab (small size clams) . Stall owner say all the big size ones all jong (reserved) by the big restaurants liaoz.
This one either steamed or boiled and go with beer shiok!

Both Sek and female partner tested positive for drug consumption. Will face charges seperately, gun case in Korat and drug case in BKK. Gun case most likely a fine or short sentence. Drug consumption quite difficult to escape as he is repeat offender.

An estimated 20,000 foreign and Thai revellers joined the New Year Countdown and full moon party at Hat Rin Beach on Koh Phangan, where Surat Thani police claim that one bar was serving drinks laced with funny mushrooms and laughing gas.

SURAT THANI: Authorities on Monday raided a bar for allegedly selling a concoction blended with hallucinogenic mushrooms, as well as nitrous oxide -- commonly known as laughing gas -- to New Year revellers.
The raid took place at Bello Bar on Rin Beach on Koh Phangan in the southern province on Monday about 3am after authorities were tipped off that the bar was selling fruit smoothies mixed with psilocybin mushrooms to both Thai and foreign tourists welcoming in the New Year on the beach.
Psilocybin mushrooms -- also known as magic mushrooms -- are categorised as a Type 5 narcotic under Thai drug laws and are used mainly as a recreational drug.
The raid was carried out jointly by soldiers from the Fourth Army, Koh Phangan police and Surat Thani local government officials.
Authorities also seized three 20kg cylinders containing laughing gas, about 3,000 balloons as well as more than 1.5 million baht in cash.
Selling nitrous oxide without authorisation is illegal. They also confiscated bottles of liquor to examine whether the spirits were properly taxed.
Three people were detained for questioning -- Duangruedee Sae Lim, 38, the bar owner, Charnchai Buakham, 44, and Khamnuan Somsuk, 59, bar employees.
Ms Duangruedee told police that the beverages blended with the mushroom were sold to tourists for 300 baht per glass while balloons filled with laughing gas were sold at 150-200 baht a piece.
Police charged them with the trade and possession of Type 5 narcotics, and selling nitrous oxide without authorisation.

This is the real Teochew style braised duck rice. Duck rice in Siam Lor is usually server with preserved pink ginger slice and boiler chai sim vegetable. This one dont include the ginger slice and chai sim. Pure thinly slice duck meat ( around 2-3mm )and blood. Not easy to slice duck meat at such thinness. Was told in the old days, duck is very scarce and only big occasion than have a chance to eat duck meat. In order to serve as many people as possible, the duck meat was finely slice as thin as possible. Those who have experience slicing duck meat will know its not easy.
Verdict. Only complaint is the chillin sauce not matching.
Old aunty face quite grumpy and fierce looking but is actually quite kind and jai dee. Also because of her age, she will take her time to serve the food. Those cannot wait better go elsewhere.

Just heard from the TV that there was a fatal motorcycle accident involving Sinkies in Southern Thailand province in Phattalung during new year or new year eve.Think two people killed, one on the spot, and the other in the hospital.
Only manage to catch a glimpse of the new on TV. Shows a black color ‘big bike’ with yellow rims. In siam lor, big bike refers to high cc bikes.
Remember what I said before and many times. Roads in Siam Lor is very dangerous. Always be 1000% alert when driving or riding in Siam Lor. Sometimes suay, have to pay heavily for other drivers mistake.
