Ya lor pap always want to embrace foreigners so i'm just curious why they banned this practice. Maybe thais aren't so high up the hierachy of foreigners. Now if shit skins or filippinos were the ones celebrating then it would be allowed.

One of my favourite food is actually Indian food. I think long time ago I've mentioned before Karu's up in Upper Bukit Timah Road. Have not been there for a long while because moved to Bangkok but constantly thinking about it. So this afternoon when touched down in Changi had a very strong crae for it and decided to go buy back to eat with family. After about 5 years, the restaurant is still the same. Karu's opens at 10am and closes at 10pm. If you like tosai go after 3pm they starts selling tosai at that time. Let me post some photos here and also tell you what I ordered for a group of 8.

Fish head, I bought 2 large ones (large $30 ; medium $28 ; no small)

Marsala Chicken thighs and drumsticks

Mutton on the right and Fried fish on the left

Yellow Dal and something I really like - rasam soup, very rare now a days

More vege, lady finger, brinjal etc etc

Of course there was a big tray of cabbage and also papadam

Great meal for the family, total cost only $124 (rice cook at home)

Nice meal. I'm surprised they charged for appalam (you can tell this is southern indian food. northern indians call this pappadum).
Go to Tekka Market's Komala Vilas - they heap them on your banana leaf maciam no tomorrow.

bro joe u still in sg? come to bedok blk 56 coffeeshop at the corner. look for ah hee fishball noodle. chilli very nice with pork lard. try the dry version, whole day but best during morning cos boss will be around. sorry can't bring u around when u back in sg. blk 58 market behind this blk 56 got famous bak chor mee soup only and morning only.

thanks roti, using s3 now. think i will just revert back to ip4s. unfortunately, already given mine to one of my staff. still prefer the ip4 mechanical switch. can even switch to silent mode in the pocket. this feature very very important to me.
