1.2 m Corridor

use de 70s sliding metal gate lah...watch out for ur kids hand b4 sliding thou...:D jus like old times...:D

Punishment to Sinkie peasants for NOT supporting the 6.9m population white paper draw up by their cherished cronies but they never tell you their intention was.....

10 million ! LoLoLoLoL

This DBSS project only affected a small handful of fussy sinkies. This year is SG50. Most of us would have received goodies from our good government. In terms of vote count, PAP would have gained more votes than they have lost. Part of the credit also has to go to the bumbling WP, who have demonstrated that they cannot run a town council properly.

Goodies?what goodies?

The sort that was placed in every Sinkie homes mail box informing them to collect their 'goodie bags?'

Any self respecting Sinkie who had an once of honor in them, would have upon see such trash in the mail box sent it to the trash can!.

The same can, your Masters should be sent to as well! LoL

Mr Khaw said on Tuesday that homeowners can send their feedback to MND and the HDB, and they would see if they could assist homeowners after looking into the cases.

Why Penang Cow don't understand that the HDB is the actual owner of the flats? The so called homeowners are only tenants for 99 years. Cow contracted with the Tiong company to build these flats. The contractor already knew all these issues. U cannot tell me that with so many foremen and company execs inspecting the job site that they did not notice the doors were facing each other and that when opened, no room is left in the corridor? They did not see the corridors were so narrow? Some one bribed BCA to a)approve the stupid plans b) to sign off on all the inspections. Coupled with local big shot Gordon Tang who is one of the owners of the company, BCA quietly take the bribe and curry favour with the billionaire.

Send what lan jiao feedback.. Just gather in front of the parliament and protest lah.. No balls? Then cry in your own corridor lor.

Just checked out HDB flat corridors at Lor 3 Toa Payoh Block 91 and also over at Block 85B. Then stopped at Bt Batok Central Block 152 on the way to lunch. Width of corridors of 1.5m seemed to be the majority with many going to 1.6m.

Since DBSS flats are unique with 1.2m corridors, owners can seize upon this as a special feature of their flats. They can say that their unique corridors encourage neighbours to be closer to each other. Especially those with young wives, daughters... see there's always silver linings, if one cares to look.

Alamak, what if there are two wheel chairs travelling in opposite directions ?

WP cannot run a town council? Stop reading the PAP press. WP has shown sinkees that you don't need that much money to run an efficient town council. With the kind of extra millions the PAP TC get and the higher fees earned, the residents over there should be getting 5 stars service. Instead, they get 2-star.

WP TC has shown sinkees the PAP is ripping them off.

PAP DOESN'T REPAIR PLAYGROUND IN THEIR OWN CONSTITUENCY, STILL GOT TIME TO FAULT AHPETC?

Hi A.S.S,

I want to report on the shockingly dreadful condition of kids playground in Tampines north smacked right in the backyard of Tampines MP/Town Council Chairman Baey Yam Keng's constituency.

Ironically this kids playground is right in front of the food court where Baey holds his monthly "kopitalk". Wonder how he can go there every month to talk cock and not notice the deplorable condition of the kids playground right in front of him?

And those PAP doggies have the cheek to complain that AHPETC had fail to re-paint a zebra crossing...

BCA and HDB are both under MND. And this is a very serious problem that fire safety requirement is breached. He as the minister in-charge of both authorities should not wait for people to feedback but to step forward to solve the problem!

Like that who knows what other safety requirements that are not visible are also breached, for example the structure requirements of the building, will it collapse after ten years?

Such serious breach of safety should have been flagged out during architect or construction and not found out only when people get keys or even moved in. Now any corrections will involve tearing down the building or move the wall inside to create a bigger corridor since it is safety requirement and means building not safe otherwise.

Besides correction, it also means that the BCA or whoever inspected the fire safety requirement has done an improper job. Khaw should investigate thoroughly whether all the engineers are properly qualified or is there any corruption going on for not just fire saftey but all kinds of building inspection. This should not be like the brompton bike case, no need to wait for some intelligent netizen to investigate and find out there are some related parties.

If 1000 people sued it becomes a different issue altogether. Every flat has at least 2 signers, all everyone has to do is go and get a lawyer to represent them. You are right, they will not win in the kangaroo court of the PAP. But it will scare the shit out of them when 1000 people show up in court.

Yes they should sue HDB for breach of fire safety. Human life is priceless, so if conservative 1 million compensation for each future loss of life, 1000 lives staying in that block should worth 1 billion. It is cheaper for HDB to tear down and re-build the whole block plus pay compensation to the people for the delay.

I guarantee you that such serious breach of safety was already known during the building phase. If there was a fire alarm in the building and the building had to be evacuated, everyone will open their doors to escape roughly at the same time. Then it becomes a fight to see who has more strenght to push his door open and prevent the opposite neighbour from opening his door. The doors should have been configured to open inside instead of opening outside. This is all simple logic. But it costs the developer to fix this issues, it costs the developer to move the doors and stagger them so they don't face each other. Its cheaper for them to bribe someone at BCA to sign off on it.

If I were oppo parties, I will be doing door to door at Pasir Ris 1 to talk to the owners and record their complaints. Since many oppo parties are chock full of lawyers, they should offer the owners to draw a legal document for them, or do a petition and present it on their behalf PRO BONO. Its obvious that Teo Chee Hean and his GRC fucktards will defend the developer, just like the Fernvale Sengkang Columbarium developers was vigourously defended by PAP MP Lam PAR MIn. AT least help the residents present a case to them. Even the residence will know after looking at Lam ParMin's example, Teo Chee Hean will not do anything for them. There are oppo votes to be picked up here.

All these problems come to head...simply becos fucktard Pappy cronies wanted to please their Masters by squeezing everything in and still want to collect premium dollars for it!

Huat ah! LoL

I really wish some lawyers can coordinate cases against hdb. They have been arrogant & just shut off many Hdb owners one at a time. The fact that there are so many sales of balance flats showed that there are a lot of disgruntled applicants, & Hdb made a lot of money from them by forfeiting deposits & loan interest etc. I have a case against them when they forfeited a five figure sum & barred me from applying again for ten years. I upgraded to a smaller flat when on paper it should be bigger but Hdb challenged me to find my own surveyor to do the on site measurement when the flat now belonged to a new owner who will not grant access. I believed if proven to be smaller this can shake up hdb many owners faced the same problem. Any lawyers who dare take up such cases Can make a quantum leap in his or her career if successful.

Looks like standard 600mm LED tube light. Can fit slightly more than 2 and half tubes from one wall to another.

I also think 1.5-1.6m.

Talk so much crap and till now still no pic of the infamous corridor:
