Although I am not a believer in these bank analysts, some of the points in this article makes sense. I am wondering what impact this possible correction in Singapore will have in Iskandar:
1) Will it be better as more Singaporeans will go towards Iskandar, given the affordability during hard times and the prospects of catching a falling knife by buying in Singapore?
2) Or will this be bad news for Iskandar as well, as most folks will wait for prices to correct in Singapore, rather than buy in Iskandar?
3) It will not matter as many of us, as we see on this forum, are just looking for a different quality of life, more openness, fresh air etc, and the Singapore dynamics will not really make a difference.
Hi lastresort, to get to 2nd link using coastal highway from HH, do you turn right at the main guardhouse, instead of left towards Jusco? The sign in front of the T-junction says Gelang Patah, which I guess should be able to lead us to EL, but I haven't tried that road yet.
Asumming we turn right, are there signages to follow all the way to Mydin, EL and then Tuas 2nd link? Thanks.
i struggled a lot too when I know abt the mosque ...
But Msia is muslim country ,we cant avoid all this if u wan to stay there , 1 learned man in this forum told me this before....
I just cant tahan SG overcrowded , I am like a tourist in my OWN country.
That day i happened to take mrt for lunch and it was so crowded , in the whole cabin I hear only foreign languages , i am the odd one....

Not to pour cold water on you guys... you can't run away from FTs in JB.
There is actually a Myanmar community (working in SG) who purchased units in precints 5/6, but they are educated and decent lot, pretty nice people. One of them held a house warming in NI phase 2A and invited us (some months back) that's how we met them. I suppose when there is enough space for everyone things become more tolerable and people are less ill-tempered.
usa and mini usa, at the other end of most graphs from japan
Ghosh... Jusco Bukit Indah is driving me nuts... yesterday's crowd was as if Jusco giving away free groceries.
It's high time they open another Jusco but i suspect many of these developers like UEM might be waiting for price to appreciate before letting in some of these international players... idiot !

sutera mall also very busy as well. though i think pelangi which used to be beacon of JB shopping is really quiet these days. all eyes pointing towards the lifestyle mall now.
I think you have nailed the main problem here in Sg. Insufficient land but the gov keeps the floodgates open..
Personally? I do not know about condo but i do not think that landed property price in Singapore will fall more than 15% as the dynamics are a little difference.
1) more high income expats working in Singapore expecially oil and gas and financial industry.
2) many of the investors who belove that price will fall were selling last year and this year. Not many more people to depress the price. Heng ah......
3) due to the 4 year seller stamp duty. Supply will be very tight from 2012 onwards.
4) to much stimulus across the globe. Liquidity will eventually drive inflation. A matter of time
Hope above helps,
PH

So wonder, will the whole jusco, bukit indah stretch be all jam up when the cinema n condos are ready??
the whole area very wong with all the amenities. When BH, ND (ND's condo), setia sky/gardens (did i hear correctly a 3rd one is mooted?), inner setia developments close to HH, the numerous HH precincts + fairway suites, horizon residences, NI, Nusa Bayu/central, setia eco gardens are all done and occupied. The roads may need to be upgraded...
bro LeMans
so your stint at NI was a test water?
the funny thing about people is that the more jammed a place is, the more people like to come..
bros who served NS will know the analogy here...maciam like everybody rushing for the same hole...haha.
cheers.
