I don't know much about soccer but in my opinion, they won the world cup because they kept their team as white as possible.

German soccer underwent a total revamp last decade and they raised standards for all Division one clubs. In addition, they chose to focus on home grown talent rather than just importing soccer stars from abroad. They deserve to be world champions.

Germany was really that good ? in the knockout stages, they had 3 narrow victories against their opponents, 2 matches went into extra-time. their 7-1 victory over Brazil seemed a fluke. Brazil suddenly collapsed in the semi-finals. Holland easily defeated Brazil 3-0 too.

Hmph..

Got their real test Germany

Sad don't be

Support England i will in WC 2018

Till round of 16 knockout stage as face giving to England supporters

And to jokers at sgpools, clowns they must not be, to open semi finals plate for England at the start of the tournament which they collected only one point

Joachim Low told Mario Gotze to show he is better than Lionel Messi before the Germany attacker scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final against Argentina

  • Low says he told Gotze in extra-time to 'show he is better than Messi'
  • Germany boss said Gotze's winning goal did just that
  • Low went on to describe the Bayern Munich attacker as 'a miracle boy'
  • The 54-year-old said Germany's World Cup win was 10 years in the making

Argentina played really well in the finals. Despite the pride over their team's performance, many Argentines couldn't hide the pain.

World Cup: National Council for Problem Gambling adds new twist to Andy ad campaign

The National Council for Problem Gambling has added a clever twist to its World Cup ad campaign, after Germany clinched the championship. -- SCREENGRAB from NCPG website
The National Council for Problem Gambling (NCPG) has added a clever twist to its World Cup anti-gambling ad campaign, after Germany clinched the championship by beating Argentina 1-0.

The campaign centres on a boy, Andy, who wistfully hopes that Germany win the World Cup, because his father bet all the schoolboy’s savings on them. The campaign became the target of jokes and memes across the globe after Germany stormed into the final as favourites by thrashing hosts Brazil 7-1.

On Monday morning, the NCPG unveiled a new ad on its website. A boy asks Andy whether he got his money back after Germany won the World Cup.

But Andy, looking as depressed as ever, says, "No, dad never stops... he wants to bet one more time."

Maybe this was why NCPG used Germany in its ad campaign after all.

Stop cheerleading for the mistakes of the PAP regime, you insufferable presstitutes and spin job hacks of SPH.
