FFF used to be the worst hyperlink machines at RWS, but now Lucky Penny slot area is the Number One, out of 400 machines at this area, probably only 40 machines payout ave and above, 300 machines pay ave and below and will eat up you BR eventully if you continue playing and the remaining 60 machines are Killer. Avoid this area until they do some adjustment, if the payout continues to be so low, it hardly attracts players, just hope they losen a bit during low season.

Gold Rush is still the place that worth playing, whereas Island Delight, I have not pay attention to this area ever since Lucky Penny Slot area opens. However, I met familiar faces at Island Delight, it shows the machines at Island Delight are still friendly which is quite a good sign.
Another place worth play is the Premium Slot which is 10cts, 20cts and $1. As we all know, higher denom machines usually pay better but it is stressful to play if you don't not have enough BR.

I agree with you totally on Gold Rush and Premium slots. But watchout at the premium slots.....some machines are $1 games. Some people didnt realise and bet 50 credits which is equal to only one spin with a $50 BR!

I have never done well at island delight. I have tried the lucky penny and agree fully with your experience that the payout there is very bad. These includes the Aruze games, aristocrats games there. I only did comparatively better at the IGT there, specifically the siberian tiger. The only reason for me to love luck penny area Is that there are many 2c popular games eg 5k, 5d, FK etc. You can easily move around and switch if one machine is not paying. But being 2c, I will become reckless and bet unnecessarily high and use up the BR very fast.

FFF is another place to avoid unless you are eyeing the progressive JP.

But I must add a word of caution at Gold Rush. My experience and also observation, chit chat with regulars there last 2 weeks are mixed. Many feature games that come does not pay. I have seen many 500 credits bet and playing for 20 free games and they dont pay. In the past, getting a 9 and A FH is not that difficult during the free spins. Nowadays, even the 9 FH and 2 ang bao bonus are quite elusive.

I certainly think that going up GH would be fun with the free rooms, increased BR, cool air and value for money food and some shopping. The downside is the journey downhill which is not so comfortable and the smokey play area (after being pampered by the non-smoking area in Singapore IR).

If you have the time to spend 1-2 nights, why not

Perhaps I was not clear. The aditional bonus games is not guaranteed even if you hit a winning line with the "dragon"..its random. So, you may get 0 even if you win with the dragon..

I also agree with bro Mindless that its harder to hit a "bigger" win with the 5D deluxe. I did not get any ang pow bonus at all..and the 4 times I entered the bonus round I only hit a full line of 9 once. Perhaps the reason is due to the additinonal bonus games. But I did on average get like 3-5 extra games during the bonus. Hence, I think it will be better to chose the bonus with less games but higher multiplier since you may get additional games in the bonus round. It makes better sense..and the value of the additional spin is much higher.

Sis jjcc88...I share your frustration of not having fun...it seems that the bonus rounds are harder to come by. Even when you do hit the bonus rounds most of the time the returns is quite small..and is just to entice you to play on more (and lose more). I may take a short break from playing (eventhough I have been winning on the last few occasions). Perhaps will let the newer machines "break in" first..

As for Genting Highlands...the older slots remains "standard"..I still do see some people winning big (saw a guy who had a huge hit on max bet..won about like 260k credits). As for the newer machines, well I have stated above...not really good payout but of course..its much more "interactive"..nice screen and newer games. (not so smokey over there..)

If you go GH and play only with nn credit from packages, it is very hard to lose. RWS pts are convertible to GP at a ratio of 2:1. For only 100 GP, you can get the luxurious Maxims suite at GH. It is quite a treat if you want to impress family and loved ones.

Indeed bro Kia, I totally agree! I guess the hefty 'entertainment' fee we have all contributed here easily add up to $1M.
But nonetheless I did have fun time there playing slots. This is something a non-slot player may not understand.
It's not about chasing after the JP, I am definitely not one as I prefer to play standalone macines. if the payout is good, certainly it does make my day, I am not into winning few grands from the slots, as long I am able to maintain my BR plus couple of hundreds winning I am actually quite contented.
Problem is sometimes the winnings came too early and therefore prolonged play ended up with losing the winnings plus capital. There are also times where I mentally have to force myself out of the den with some winnings, but in all, I am still a loser to the machines.
The kind of thrill and enjoyment that one experience from playing slot is not at all easy to describe, I guess only die hard slot player will understand.

Thanks bro blackhole, I have managed to stay away for at least 2 weeks now, but I must say it wasn't easy at all.
I used to visit 3 to 4 times in a week and now totally banning myself is really tough. I am not at all considering SE as I know playing slot is still my most favorite hobby. I guessed I was really put off by the machines during my last few visits.

During my last visit there, there was this standalone 5c Fk on level 1 which I was playing, betting on 60 credits per spin, no free game feature for like 200 continuous spins, how could it be?? $600 gone within like the 1st half hr. Switched to another machine, feature only came after almost like 100 spins but pay peanuts another $300 gone. Balance $600 tried different machine here and there also no feature!!WTH! BR gone in less than 4 hrs. Such session I will not deemed as fun anymore. I do really feel they have tightened the payouts as compared to last year, wonder if any of you bro and sis here feels the same?

Btw, have u noted recently this ad from NCG keeps appearing on tv. Tag line- "I m a lucky man, I m a lucky man..i m lucky she made the call." Perhaps people seeking help in this area are on the rise.

Well i mean no harm. In fact, i know how one feels after losing so much money through gambling.

Since very young age, we were taught not to gamble by our strict dad, and were told of the consequences that may arise. I had witnessed for myself how a family can be destroyed within a short period of time. In this case, this rich man was demonised and possessed by the casinos, before he woke up from his dream, he was gobbled by them. In a couple of years, he lost no less than Rm50millions, raked up millions of debt, all his properties were auctioned off, his so call good friends and relatives desserted him. I still can recall vividly the day he brought along his family to our house, begging my dad to help him out, i.e to give him some time to repay his debt owed to my dad. All of them were crying, including his two young daughters(i wonder if they know why they are crying). It was, believe me, a very pitiful and disturbing scene. A week later, he commited suicide. A very very true story.
I am not trying to scare anyone. If you really think that you have to gamble, then play within your mean like what many people say. Otherwise, you will end up very miserable. Remember, you are not the only one suffer, your loved one hurt the most.
