Slot games, Casino Rewards & Privileges

I was at the den this afternoon and wow the place was super packed.
The first sign of the traffic was at the B1 carpark. I have never ever seen the car park filled up all the way to the B1 entrance and today is the first time I witnessed. The car park was so full that they even blocked the gantry to the B1 car park. Luckily I can access the B2 car park and that level is also almost full.
The next sign was the queue to enter the casino. Normally, I see jam at the overseas queue but today, the Sporean lane is also packed with 20-30 people going in. I saw the queue at the levy counter is also quite long.
So I skipped the queue and walked over to the VIP floor entrance. Luckily no queue at this entrance, but the VIP casino slot area was packed! This place is usually very quiet and empty but today it is fully occupied. Every Aristocrat machines are occupied. The IGT and WMS are not spared. Even the Bally's are taken up..........You literally have to stand behind people to wait for your turn to play.....and this is on the VIP floor - so many VIPs! I was surprised to see so many "premium" member. I didnt even dare to go look see the main casino which should be many time worse.
I started with WMS Palace of Riches (10c) as it was the only machine available. Then I eyed a 5D when one guy left. I quickly switched over and for the rest of the afternoon, I played only this machine because I cannot afford to stand up with all the people hanging around waiting to play... JP2 was around $4800 and max is $5000. Then I see the familiar trio again. I was thinking to myself - Alamak, the pros are here again. The 3 spreadout and waited for their machines patiently. All the machines were occupied and they waited for quite a while. Eventually they managed to get a machine each. Then they put in their big TITO. The lady started to pull out a book to read. As usual, I can anticipate their moves already. They started playing 1 line 1 credit on auto. Then increase to more lines...... Suddenly the JP dropped at about $4800+. This trio have not even hit the threshold to start their Max Bet yet. I was smiling when I saw that the JP went to a "genuine" player. I would be happier if it has come to me, but I was happy enough that it didnt go to the any of the trio :p.
Anyway I really didnt expect the crowd considering that today is not a public holiday anymore. I supposed alot people are still on leave.

I spent the new year away in HK with my mom - just for a change this year - got back on the 1st night/2nd early morning of the new year due to the 'lousy late timing' of the HK Air return flight (got 'wrong info' from the Travel Agent here :(

My secretary 'invited' me to join them on their 3rd Day MBS Venture (Office still closed for CNY on 3rd Day)
So I was down at MBS by 11.20am - only ONE or TWO of the Levy Machines were working for the Side BI Entrance so it was already 11.40am+ by the time I entered the casino
Started off playing the Wheel of Fortune as everywhere was crowded
Not too bad - Initial Good Start as usual ... managed to make over $200+ within 1st 20 minutes or so and only stopped when they arrived
One of them wanted a Non-Smoking Floor so we went up after they got New Membership Cards replaced
Dispersed and I played a 5D slot but simply lost $$ - somehow I just can't win playing at the top floor ....
AND the MBS Slots have REALLY been TIGHTENED Real Badly too - NOT so much thrill playing the slots as extremely difficult to get the Free Games etc ....
So went back down to the smokey B1 and played a 5cts 50 Lions
Only stopped when my friend SMSed me for our 3.30pm Tea Appointment
Withdrew fresh playing capital after Tea/Late Lunch
No free fav machine so saw this unoccupied unpopular Dragon Gate slot
Had to coax it quite long before it started to behave and pay out
At one point in time - managed to even BREAK EVEN !!!!

So yesterday morning I managed to lessen my Losses somewhat by some $1.2k but still lost some 1.5k in all :o

I did my Usual MBS NiteOver and only exited to go home half an hour before the 24-hour levy expired {had an afternoon appointment !}
Hope to be able to do a CNY RWS Casino visit soon

I was there on Thur.....tried to get an ang bao but instead I gave the ang bao instead.
I started at GR for a short while. Could not get any good feature at the usual 5K/5D. One guy was max betting and playing diff machines along. I noticed he doesn't stay long on each machine. He was lucky to hit a feature on 5k and chose 10 free games. He hit a full house "cai" X15!
I decided to try the new 2c area at the smokey area. This place is bigger than island delight as bro Kia mentioned. There are a lot of new aristocrat, IGT and the noisy Aruze games. It is so easy to get to play your favorite 5K, 5D and 50D on 2c. If playing aristocrats is likely playing computer games on CRT monitor, than playing the IGT here is like upgrading the monitor to Plasma or LCD flat screens. There are many IGT new games here including Siberian tiger , COE etc. You can change the denomination of these IGT games from 2c, 5c to 10c games. I really like the big screen and the sound system.
My session on the IGT was quite ok. But I didn't have good luck on the aristocrats. As mentioned before I tend to get too carried away and reckless when playing 2c. BR burned very fast when playing high bets on 2c because I believe the payout rate is lower compared to a 5c or 10c game.
Overall, I like the variety of games here and the games here are all standalone non-progressive JP. However, I don't like the smokers sitting or walking around me. I could have spent more time there if not for the cigarette smokes :(

Personally I think the penny slots areas are for occasional fun and to try out the new games. For more "serious" gaming, the 10c and 20c premium slots are a better bets with your kind of capital.
In the IRs, time (....so does the BR) flies. Thirst, hunger, fatigue and heart pain are felt only the moment after.

Another lost trip at Lucky Penny Slot area last evening. I was trying those new machines that I have never play before, $100 to each machine and half my BR gone in an hour. Balance $1k+ try out the Premium Slot, 5K, 5D, FK, 20cts 5D and CSY, tried all the 5 machines, only 20cts 5D didn't give me a feature spin, spent about an hour here and lost another $500. Proceeded to Orchid Club, chosen a wrong FK (CE), another $500 gone in 15 mins, balance $200 br finished at another FK machine. :(

Sorry bro to hear about your painful losses. I've lost and I've surrendered althogether.Cannot afford to keep losing and keep going back to MBS/RWS. The slot machines are killers.
Please take comfort that you have walked away with some realization that the casino is a hell hole. I went through that for the past one year of membership and I've managed to stop my great urge to return. I know I will lose at least 2K at each visit. It was good initinially, but in the end, I lost and lost and continued to lose......So good-bye to MBS and good-bye to RWS.
Now we know why MBS made so much!!!! Many more Singaporeans are losing big time , addicted to gambling big time and it is a Big Time Problem.

Anyway..a short BR. Went to GH yesterday. Jolly loads of people there (I thought after CNY the crowds would thin out). Anyways..went there to test a particular game which I saw on my previous visit. Its called stinking riches (IGT). Wanted to try out by playing lesser line but bigger bet (in bonus all lines are played based on your per line bet). As I went to the first machine which I wanted to try..an uncle was there and I saw his balance...100,000 credits...crap missed the boat.
So I wnt to play another SR machine. Cold as a freezer. RM500 gone in like 30 minutes...crap. Took a break...and play 5D. Genting now has ugraded some slots and there is a few rows of 5D with wide screen. Very interesting...and i makes the older machines looks really old fashioned. Anyways...broke even after 1 hour of playing...highest hit was a full 9 x 8 at 90 credits. Went back to the SR machine to try again. This time it was luke warm...makan-makan ..then spit out abit..and another 1 hour i lost another 500.
Bleh..I thought ok..maybe my SR style cannot use. So..wanted to ciao...lose 1k its ok since I made 5k from last trip. As was walking out ...I passed the 50 lions machine which I had a big hit (posted a while ago). Would lightning strike 2x? Aiyah...decided to put 100 bucks test water. Few spins in....didnt look to good..so I started to mess with the paylines and bets again. LOL...again on 38 line 3x credits..I hit the free spin and ...I hit the almost same hit again. Couldnt take photo this time as a lot of uncles started to gather around and started looking at my wins.
Pocketed the 82k credits and cashed out cepat cepat. I high tail out with a anet win of 3k and 30 GP points.

Anyway..a short BR. Went to GH yesterday. Jolly loads of people there (I thought after CNY the crowds would thin out). Anyways..went there to test a particular game which I saw on my previous visit. Its called stinking riches (IGT). Wanted to try out by playing lesser line but bigger bet (in bonus all lines are played based on your per line bet). As I went to the first machine which I wanted to try..an uncle was there and I saw his balance...100,000 credits...crap missed the boat.
So I wnt to play another SR machine. Cold as a freezer. RM500 gone in like 30 minutes...crap. Took a break...and play 5D. Genting now has ugraded some slots and there is a few rows of 5D with wide screen. Very interesting...and i makes the older machines looks really old fashioned. Anyways...broke even after 1 hour of playing...highest hit was a full 9 x 8 at 90 credits. Went back to the SR machine to try again. This time it was luke warm...makan-makan ..then spit out abit..and another 1 hour i lost another 500.
Bleh..I thought ok..maybe my SR style cannot use. So..wanted to ciao...lose 1k its ok since I made 5k from last trip. As was walking out ...I passed the 50 lions machine which I had a big hit (posted a while ago). Would lightning strike 2x? Aiyah...decided to put 100 bucks test water. Few spins in....didnt look to good..so I started to mess with the paylines and bets again. LOL...again on 38 line 3x credits..I hit the free spin and ...I hit the almost same hit again. Couldnt take photo this time as a lot of uncles started to gather around and started looking at my wins.
Pocketed the 82k credits and cashed out cepat cepat. I high tail out with a anet win of 3k and 30 GP points.

Yep, this thread is very inactive nowadays.
Somehow the Aristocrats machines are the more "reliable" one. The rest are more for entertainment with sophisticated sounds and graphics, but poor payout.

I need to pay visit to Sembawang Choy Sun Ye Temple and Bukit Merah 4-faced buddha, the visits should more or less regain some of my confident. I noticed that I am losing confident playing slot for the past few weeks as I didn't get a chance to "taste" winning, it was all time "167" (all the way go).

I gave up new games like Dragon Emperor and Dragon Empire, for more than a month I tried this 2 games, honestly they are quite fun to play initially, but the payout was so miserable that enough to lessen my interest on them.

IMO..Aristrocrats slots are less volatile compared with IGTs or WMS. As for the new machines..well maybe you have a point. In GH, I noticed that not many people were playing the upgraded slots. (which is slightly weird..since 5D is a popular game). I can only guess that the payout is bad as such many people are avoiding it. Perhaps..the payout ratio is set lower or ..the machine needs to make a certain amount before it starts to pay. For Aristocrats machine..I believe that is how it operates...it needs to win a certain percentage..before it starts paying.

I watched a youtube video about 5D Deluxe, it has 2 extra features to pick, 6free spin x15,x30,x40 and the other feature cannot be seen clearly. So whenever there is a multipiler, the game award extra 1-3 free spins? sounds great but does the extra spin only award to those who pick 6free spins?
