Sedition act is reserved exclusively for opposition politicians and their supporters.
Yes, that is true. LOL. Maybe the ISD will find out that she is a member of WP, than the fix will be in.
Sedition act is reserved exclusively for opposition politicians and their supporters.
I disagree. In most countries the poor is defined as living at or below the proverty line. The proverty line is a govt. determined measure that takes into account the household income, cost of living, etc. Being poor is definitely a measurable situation, and is also commonly known as a lower class/lower income. Therefore, for purposes of the Sedition Act, the govt. can accept that there is a group of people in a much lower class than this asshole, and that his comments disparages this group and creates social ill will.
Not all poor are MRT passengers and not all MRT passengers are poor. Sufficient explanation? You can disagree all you like but the courts won't give a damn about what you think. The biggest charge I can think of will be being a public nuisance and even that, it would be a stretch.
There is nothing wrong with rich people. I know many people richer than this asshole. But NON of them make fun of the poor, or the public transit system that they have to ride on. U ever hear of any Kuoks, Gates, etc. make fun of the poor or not? Call them smelly? In many countries, govts have been overthrown because the have nots just got fed up with all the excesses of the haves. This was how communism was started. The PAP knows this and hence the reason for this section of the Sedition Act. Poor People are not angry because they are poor, they are angry because rich people make fun of them and humiliate them. This is a very simple fact, wrap your brain around it.
U must really be some kind of ostrich. Let me ask u a question. DO you live in SIngapore, are u a Singaporean? If you know anything about SIngapore's judicial history, you will know that the govt can charge u on flimsiest of evidence or even lack thereof. If they want to make an example of ANton Casey, the Sedition act is more than enough to bring him to court. And all the QCs he can hire will make no difference. The govt. can do anything. They can let people who participated in a riot off scot free. On the other hand, they manufacture any verdict against u in court. If Gay Loong or his father picked up the phone and call the Commissioner of Police to arrest Anton Casey and charge him with Sedition, are you so naive as to think that the prosecutor and judges wouldn't be tripping over each other to ensure a swift and guilty verdict for this asshole. Do u actually think that courts here go by the spirit of the law as opposed to what the PAP tells them? You are a fool. This whole thing has turned into a hot potato for the PAP. Everyone online and in their workplace and at home are talking about this asshole. Casey has already hired lawyers. SPH has already removed the article from their website. AFter so many mishandlings recently, you would think the PAP would sacrifice his goat to appease the public for a while. Bottom line is you are so naive to think its a legal matter, let me tell u, its very much a political matter now.
No locals can match Ang Mohs when it comes to ability. Ang Mohs are the best.

say Sinkie childish, her ang moh hero not childish? She just wanted a white kukujiao.
I am afraid I do not know who this Hannah Cheah is or what she said. I only know of what this Anton guy said from reading another thread in Sammyboy. If someone says something smells bad, that is that person's view, agree or not, its personal, there's no yardstick of measure. If I see a fat chap and call him fat, I am being insensitive and thoughtless, have I committed a crime? He can choose to ignore me. Is being called poor a bad thing? One might be hurt, but some might see it as being sensitive. Like I said this, Anton comes across as being snobbish, but that is not seen by the law as a crime. He might receive a warning to be watchful about what he said, I don't think the court is going to fine him for saying people are poor. Sometimes people here only want to hear good things said of them, that is not what the real world is like. I can't speak for the SPF, they are only doing what's assigned to them, that is, take orders. I personally do not like cops, but they're working class people like me and I don't blame them for some things they do.
Cheers!
Ok, ok.
The way I interpret this case is that this Anton guy wasn't making fun of poor people. He was expressing his disgust at having to put up with the smell in the train. And he does not want to associate with poor people, he wasn't making fun of them, it wasn't funny.
This is making fun of poor people: "Have you heard about this guy that was sooooo poor he had to jack-off to feed his cat?"
Cheers!
Even if she date 5 local guys she will still say 1 only
