The PAP may have made a few blunders along the way but the long term strategy of growing Singapore by enhancing the quality of manpower resources is the right one. They do have a long term vision of Singapore -- that was clearly and eloquently spelt out in the white paper on population.
Infrastructure will be vastly improved and upgraded in the coming years. New MRT lines will be built and many more bus services added. Land will be reclaimed and existing land use optimized, to cope with a 6.5 to 6.9 million population. PM Lee has promised us that Singapore will be one of the most livable cities in Asia.
The electorate may be disgruntled with foreigners now, but soon everyone will adapt and we will together form a new Singaporean identity. It take a tough government like the PAP to push through unpopular policies and stick with them so that Singaporeans will reap the benefit years down the road.

our IP addresses assigned by the ISP are dynamic, don't think the IP address is dedicated. what worth is it to know our IP address? my current IP address is 220.255.1.37 what can they do about it?
besides, our idle banter and random rants aren't that damaging to the MIWs to render ourselves as enemies of the state. should any psychologist run a test in each and everyone of us, me can be pretty sure that the report will come back indicating that we all love Singapore much as we love to bash the bad policies and the MIWs

The problem is with the word "cope" in their plan. I only hope that the new MRT lines are to be built to provide relief to the congestion and not to "cope" with further increase in imported population.

White is a most dirty colour. Ask anyone who wears white pants or white shoes. How easy these pants and shoes can be dirtied. It is not a surprise that so many people in white managed administration were caught dipping their dirty hands into the honey jars or dirtying their white under wears in some quiet car parks and bonding trips.
