Most moslems view the hui as traitors and not real moslems. Any decent moslem community would have staged insurgency to form a breakaway moslem country instead of living under the chinks where they can't practice sharia law. Look at southern thailand vs the buddhists, aceh islamists vs the indons and the moros against the catholic pinoys in southern philippines.

They usually disavow their original culture and embrace themselves in m&d or arabic culture to be accepted by the other side.
