What does this sort of news say about India?

Sad thing is they had many years to build their facilities.

I was in Beijing about 2 month before the Olympics and I could tell the people there were very proud that their country is hosting the event. Even the taxi driver that drove me to the hotel was proud of the event. And if you sense it at the taxi driver level then it must be everywhere.

I read a news article about the event organizers and apparently Beijing just signed the cheque and did not have a lot of input. Initially Beijing (Gov) wanted some stalinist type military parade but that was quickly shot down.

Yes, Singapore's standards are different. Hawkers and coffeshops and foodcourts dip their dishes and untensils one second in detergent water, out next one second in water and out next to dry, to be used again.

China hawkers wash their dishes with one minute scrubbing in detergent water, two minutes soaked in sterilization chemical and three minutes rinsed through water. Then a little roundel sticker is placed on it to indicate that it's been hygienically cleaned and fit for use again. After next usage and dishes are collected, the sticker is removed to indicate that it should be washed throughly again.

hey can u read again. You're another cock sucker of india. I was writing that in reference to india's cleanliness compared to china's not to singapore's. Why didn't you mention india's hygiene standards?

Btw you sure singapore hawkers wash their dishes with one minute scrubbing in detergent water, two minutes soaked in sterilization chemical and three minutes rinsed through water. Then a little roundel sticker is placed on it to indicate that it's been hygienically cleaned and fit for use again?

Don't talk cock.

Hey you moron did you see me quoting that guy's post which showed a link to the housing of the athletes of the beijing olympics?

Open your bloody eyes and i'm also making the comparison to shitland's standard which is freaking obvious. If you're referring to singapore then it's also a given that cities like shanghai or beijing are more advanced than singapore.

isit??????????

The Chinese are always proud to serve the West. They kissed white ass for more than a century and they're still happy to make every effort to keep the white masters happy.

To be fair to the Indians, they are a democracy with freedom of press so we are getting to see all these shit.I am sure China has some problems as well.

Having said that, I believe it will take 20 years before anyone in India will start dreaming of organising another international games again.

To be fair to the Indians, not every one involved in the building of this Games is at fault.
For instance, i won't impute blame on the average construction joe who can barely scrape US$1 for his daily wage.

Not too long ago, the Indian govt had to step in when it was reported these workers had no proper lodging. They were supposedly made to sleep out in the cold at night, like stray dogs, only to rise early and start work again the next day, with no contract, benefits, nothing.

These workers were treated worse than slaves.

And yet the organising committee has the cheek to tout this as "bigger and better" than the Beijing Olympics. When some ah neh speak, all i see is an image of a forked tongue

The Kalmadi fella is the honcho snake. Look at him in the pictures that some bro posted above: typical ah neh ccb

How can they be proud when their people are shooting one another everyday?

I was traveling along the road outside the site marked for the village a yr ago around this time. Plenty of kids selling papers, flowers and knick-knacks on the road. They would come up to yr car and open yr door if it wasn't locked.

My chauffeur had to lock all the doors. It's sad when an Indian doesn't trust another Indian.

Fogging mozzies? That should be their last concern. They should be fogging the real bloodsuckers: fucking deadwood and corrupt bastards in their ranks
