Hana Kuk (菊梓喬) and Ron Ng (吳卓羲) are speculated to be easing into a closer relationship, as she was spotted staying the night at the actor’s home earlier.
The pair was romantically linked since last September, when Ron tagged Hana on a social media in the middle of the night out of nowhere. While he attended her New Year Eve’s concert to show his support, both have been reticent and often dodge press questions about their relationships.
Recently, Hana was seen driving in her Mercedes-Benz car to Ron’s 1200-square-foot luxurious home in Sham Tseng late at night and staying until morning. Some of Ron’s neighbors even revealed to the media that they frequently see the two together, albeit arriving and leaving separately at different times throughout the day. It was speculated that Hana often visits Ron’s home to enjoy private moments together.
When confronted by the press, Hana answered curtly, “I didn’t go there to see him. COVID-19 cases got worse lately, and everyone has reduced meeting up and gathering together. Hope everyone stays safe. Thanks for your concern.”

At the 2022 Hong Kong FILMART Expo held last week, TVB showcased their upcoming dramas for the year. Kids’ Lives Matter 2 <星空下的仁醫> is said to start filming in July. Although TVB tried to persuade Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) to film the sequel, she declined.
Linda Disappointed by TVB Awards
Linda won audience’s hearts with her performance in Kids’ Lives Matter <星空下的仁醫> last year. Many thought she would win TVB Best Actress, as Linda especially returned to Hong Kong for the awards ceremony. To the surprise of many, Rosina Lam (林夏薇) received Best Actress and Linda won Malaysia’s Favorite TVB Actress instead.
Linda had sacrificed a lot to film Kids’ Lives Matter, including taking the risk of coming back to Hong Kong to film during a pandemic and being separated from her two children for nearly half a year. Although she appeared disappointed at the awards ceremony, she insisted, “I was sitting there enjoying the show; my hands didn’t sweat and my heart didn’t race.”
It is said that TVB Creative Director, Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍), had persuaded his good friend Linda to attend the awards ceremony. He disagreed with management’s decision to give the award to Rosina and allegedly argued with Catherine Tsang (曾勵珍) and Virginia Lok (樂易玲) over the situation. To avoid further conflict with internal management, Cho Lam decided to focus on developing the Chinese market and brought several TVB artistes over to participate in variety shows.
Linda Has Childcare Concerns
In an interview, Linda was asked to comment on Wong Cho Lam’s feud with management. As Linda has not been actively filming for four years, she said was “unaware of what is happening in TVB.”
However, she is happy to learn that Kids’ Lives Matter will be filming a sequel, as it is an encouraging drama that showcases the right values. “I’m very thankful that there have been some projects that have reached out recently to collaborate. I’ve discussed with my husband, and we’ve reached a consensus that I would take a break this year and focus on taking care of my family first. I hope that filming goes smoothly, and everyone remains healthy.”
Confirming that he was also invited to film the sequel, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) will see if he can fit it into his schedule as he already has several jobs lined up. “The producer also mentioned that it will be a completely new story, so I also need to see if the character is right for me.”
Fellow co-star Kenneth Ma (馬國明) has not received any notice yet, but feels that he might be unable to participate. “I believe it is not always necessary to have the original cast. What’s important is that the production crew is still the same! They’re making a completely new story anyway.”
