Tourists 'surprised' by shirtless men sleeping at Esplanade underpass

Many are homeless and sleep underpass at least can hide from sun/rain. Shiirtless because too hot that tourist really dont understand that SG gov dont care about homeless not like western have gov support. What can gov do? Sent them to jail, the homeless would be more happier because can get 3 hotmeal, medical and bed for free.
Actually they are waiting for police to catch them.

If you have people starting to sleep on the streets, take a step back and understand why the frak it is happening. Isn't this supposed to be a country of "Swiss standards", with a "world-class" transport system? Why are there still homeless people sleeping on the streets?

Is "banning" or "fining" these people the way to fix the problem?

If yes, please install handlebars all over the floor on the underpass at the Esplanade. Make it one handlebar per tile on the floor.

We misunderstood. The "swiss standard" is for them.
As for the handlebars, it's so that they can continue to see no evil and hear no evil.

Give them a chance, give them a place to sleep. Whoever complain is an outright SO. Must be a civil servant who don't really know what kinda life others are living. They got iron rice bowl, many bonuses, good pay. These farters got no heart. More like civil masters rather then civil servants
