It's machiam an impulse buy for a pet.
You dun even have someone now and you thinking so far ahead.

Finances are critical if you are raising kids but secondary if you can find someone who will go thru think and thin with you. Having said that it's quite hard to find potential wife without expectations.

That may be the case but the baby phase lasts for a very short time and before you know it they become teenagers and behave like absolute prats.

If you're lucky, they become an asset when they grow up but most of them just become parasites.

True. When I got married, for 1 to 2 years, i think how lucky i am to get married. after the romance wear off, the financial burden of a family come in, quarrels come along. then u will feel that it is better to be alone. but then again, i am blessed with 2 nice kids (for the moment, crossing my fingers). i enjoy time with them, but there are times i wish i don't have them. confusing but true.

It is better to start clearing your debt first before you look for a gf. Courtship also need money. No money, even to buy a candle for the candlelit dinner also have to think twice.
I was down and out 6 years ago. My wife came into my life and stuck with me when I had nothing. At age 25, most of my peers were already earning at least 3k then. My wife(gf then) stood by me despite my poverty and bad temper. I am lucky to have found such a woman.
