Why can't you just google "configuring a proxy"?????

That's what I do when I'm stuck trying to solve some technical issue.

It is quite apparent that all are having trouble accessing sammyboy ,tremeritus and certain others.Regardless whether Singnet or Srarhub but not thru overseas ISPs.....Perhaps Sam has his reasons to underplay this.

This is the beginning of PAP witch hunting....I already warned of this sometimes ago.Only PAP dogs like Jah rastafar & eatshitndie poo poo and ridicule this problem.

I would guess insiders like Kojakbt and Jah Rastafar ,who are techies ,are deep into this.

The application seems browser based.Hence even if you use some anonymous proxy the problem still persists.The idea is to create an illusion it's the traffic thingy.

It's not best to discuss solution here since that would alert PAP dogs who will preempt it.I had already given a clue.Good luck.

singsupplies.com is 64.202.189.170. sammyboy.com is 93.170.92.179. the latter ip address is not blocked on my mobile provider, but subject to throttling as it is deemed a potentially undesirable (not saying porn) site with a lot of bandwidth hogging pics and graphics. on the wireline side, it's fine and fast.

PAP does not throw good money for mere quarreling sake.As a case study;look at kojakbt online profile in this forum in the past.It befits a juvenile.But when kojakbt revealed his identity as Richard Wan--it was a middle aged CEO of an IT tech company.Whose partner was a research scientist in NUS.What more ,the whole business set up is dependent on govt funding!.....tell me who dependent on PAP patronage wants to fool around here?

I've contacted visnet. There may have been a DDoS attack from the singnet IP range which resulted in the mitigation software blacklisting singnet. There are also instances where too many connections from an IP range fools the software into thinking that a DDoS attack is in progress when it's actually nothing more than heavy traffic.

I'll let you guys know what they find.

Disconnect from whatever your are doing and do a trace route using the singnet connection that is causing problems.

Post the result here.

i didn;t do anything technical, just contact erection and he advise me to configure proxy as advised by you. initially, i thought your server down again for upgrade. cheers!
