Man caught stealing laptop at Suntec IT Show

This man was apparently caught stealing a laptop at the IT Show in Suntec City last night (June 14).

STOMPer Surrephoto, who took photos of the incident, said:

"This was shot about 10.58pm on June 14.

"A man had apparently stolen an Acer laptop (according to the crowd) at the IT Show 2009 on the last day of the event.

"There was jeering, but also sympathetic onlookers.

"Some people even threw scrap paper at him.

"The photos show the security guard at Suntec Convention Hall who had tied him down."

The retailers are probably doo lan with the thin margin and high costs due to the Familee's sucking efficiency. So if they can find beating boy to vent their frustration, they'll be all out to vent it on him.

I would understand such behaviour if the offence was rape or molest but.....

If Spore was some small kampong shaming would be an effective deterrent
but Spore has so many anonymous foreigners around. Just another digit, I means anonymous face.

Culprit will probably be back at work after the courts impose a fine
