Have not gone to Geylang in years but used to eat the fried beef hor fun quite often before. Nowadays with so many ah tiongs and ah peks ogling at my women, I shy away.

I packet the beef noodles about 2 weeks ago. Luckily, the lady boss cooked herself. Tasted very good.
 
hi jubilee...i'm glad you noticed my efforts but unfortunately this fellow does not....or at least he refuses to acknowledge. Just look at his posts on the trivia folder thread and you will be able to see what i mean.

This guy is like this....he will not address the issue once and for all like a gentleman but will backbite every now and then.

In the end i will probably give up fighting him because its like fighting a naggy wife....he will yap yap yap all the way to his grave .

Its good you cleared your misunderstanding with him but you just see how cynical and sarcastic he was to you on your thread until others

were convinced that your investment posts were for real......then he backed down....and of course also after you got annoyed with him.

This guy is very cunning and smart and plays well to the gallery. He is more experienced in this than i am.

I am more the direct approach type and will always lose out to backstabbers like him....but i'll fight him still.

Usually when going out for dinner with family and relatives to eat the hor fun. there will be women in the party. Sometimes I also went there to eat the durians or bring overseas visitors to taste them. I don't go to geylang alone but a long time ago do bring clients who want to go there which was quite a rare occasion.

In SBF, threads having the occasional TCSS and being hijacked is quite common. This thread for example, one will see it happening, but I view it as harmless. I will try to steer it back if I think the subject has not been exhausted but if it has I will allow it to run it's course.

Scroobal and a few senior members I consider are the pillars of this forum, valuable contributors and more often than not offer good advice drawn from their experience. I respect that and no, there was not much of an alteration with him in the investment thread and he has acknowledged I was quite genuine and not somebody out to con others. He was not the only skeptic and I don't blame anyone for having the impression as the internet is full of such scams.

In your altercation with him, I think the air has been cleared and the tendency on his part not to respond could be due to pride(I stand corrected). Anyway, let it be and if there is more of that from him I will not hesitate to correct him too. On a final note, you are not the first and neither will you be the last person he has arrowed for TCSS. Unlike a conversation face to face, there is bound to be misunderstandings of the written word.
 
This word non partisan is not in sinkie dictionary....or the very least has a totally different meaning....other terms like subsidy, welfare also mean different things when used in sinkie context.

i have never failed to recognise the contributions of the senior guys here.....the problem arose from my incessant TCSS and jokes which i believe i have gone a long way towards rectifying.
This individual still harps and harps on all these which makes him just as bad as i was.....incessant....non stop ....draggy.

At least i acknowledged my smistakes and took corrective action....but this chap lies in a reckless manner and does not acknowledge his own shortcomings ...just see his post #148 on his ''Folder to handle trivia '' thread....for something malicious that he posts but cannot substantiate

See his post #167 too for more untruths about my forum behaviour.....if he is referring to the past then you can see how bitter and unforgiving he is.

If he is referring to the present ....then see how he spreads untruths.

No...i dont have any issues with his contributions to the forum ....i only have issues with his bullying and his integrity.
