Chitchat The Official TCSS Thread

will the glazers paid moyes $15m quids to get rid of him.

not bad, received 15m quid and start a new job by summer. all fail, he can join tranmere rovers who also base in merseyside.

Unlikely. By failing to qualify for the Champions League, the Glaziers can apparently invoke a clause in his contract which means Moyes would only be eligible to redundancy payments for one year of his six year contract. This is certainly not $15m.

Screwed by the players, screwed by the fans and even in retrenchment, he's been screwed by the owners.

Any latest news (or rumours) from british press? Thanks..........................

There is something we can learn from the BPL. Managers not performing gets booted out. Here it is so privileged. Ministers not performing and those who screw up continues in their jobs. Can be DPM too.

haha... u sure such a clause exist?

I'm pretty sure his contract would include a clause on Champions League qualification and since it is now impossible for them to qualify (after defeat to Everton), early termination would trigger this in his contract.

The Glaziers were just waiting for the least expensive time to sack him.

Ok, thanks..................

Byebye mousey............................. :D

I reckon the jobs of only 3 BPL managers are safe going into next season:
Brandan Rogers
Roberto Martinez
Tony Pullis

Most of the British newspapers reckon he will be sacked today, still only 7a.m. in the UK right now.

By the way the safest manager job in la liga would have to be Diego Simeone.

Yes, I agree.

Bytheway, he is one of my top 3 candidates for world football manager of the year. The other 2 are Rudi Garcia of Roma and..............................
Tony Pullis. :D

Full agreement about Tony Pulis. In January, Crystal Palace were rock bottom of the Premier League and a dead cert for relegation.
Look where they are now. :)

Moyes has been sacked!

Laurent Blanc is a strong favourite to replace David Moyes.

Van Gaal is still the Holland coach,
national coach can be quite boring.
He got few choices now, Tottenham. Barcelona
PSG(if LB got Man U job)
AC Milan, very very poor this season.

Good choice. He will command respect in the dressing room. Has the credentials.
He can be very ruthless when he wanted result when he was at Bayern Munich.
If he is appointed as Man U coach, Wayne Rooney future will be in doubt.

Ryan Giggs will take over as temporary caretaker manager until a permanent replacement is found.
