They may well use the interim manager system which worked so well for Chelsea and Benitez, hehehehehe.....................

Yes, or perhaps let him take on BOTH roles and then allow him to quit Russia after the WC finals. Interesting prospect.

Arsenal did beat Bayern Munich at their home last season.
Man City beat Bayern this campaign.
So I think it will be close.

Looks like old Malky is next in firing line. How many EPL managers would that be?

Frankly, I've lost count this season...

The owner needs to explain to the fans regarding the head of recruitment debacle first, before he does anything else.

The last time he spoke about this, he told the press he would give a full explanation, but "not now".
That was at least 1 month ago.

Who knows what's going through Vincent Tan's mind. As Brendan Rodgers said in an interview yesterday, he's no doubt a very successful business man but knows nothing about football.

He should then leave the footballing matters to those who know.
Trying to recruit his son's 20+ yo friend whose only experience in football was playing pc games simply does not reflect well on him.

Your thoughts on Tony Fernandes? (Be careful, you know I'm a big QPR fan)

Tony has 2 things going for him:
1. He has been a real football fan since young. He would probably watch games even if he was not the owner of a club. Don't think the other 2 would.
2. He seems to realise that the fans are possibly the most important people at the club and appears willing to talk to them, sit with them at games, even socialise with them at pubs. It's quite obvious that the other 2 don't.

There's no problem in owners or chairmen sacking managers, like QPR, Stoke, WBA, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Wigan, etc. They all had their reasons and sometimes it works out, other times it doesn't. But Daniel has hired and fired 6 to 7 managers in the few years he has been there, and the structure he has put in place appears untenable for a manager. Surely he himself and Baldini have a major part in their arguable "failure" as well. As for Vincent, the manner in which he has dealt with the head of recruitment and the manager simply shows a lack of class. He still has a chance to make it right, and he should take it for the sake of his own reputation.

Yes, I think he was a die hard Hammers fan before he bought QPR. Most fans (myself included) respect him because he engages with them on social media (especially Twitter). He listens to their sentiment and takes constructive criticism. Even on the QPR on-line supporters forum, most fans support him and let's be honest, after we were relegated last season, he could have said "Fuck you QPR", walked away and sold the club...but he didn't. Instead, he has ploughed millions of his own wealth into the club and committed to investing in a brand new 40,000 capacity stadium. For this he deserves credit.

My only real criticism was that he relied too much on Philip Beard for advice and did not fire Mark Hughes sooner. Don't think he knew too much about footballing agents, the transfer market and let others exploit his lack of knowledge in this area. The amount that we spent on new players was frankly ridiculous!

The over-inflated wage bill at Loftus Road still concerns me as does the loss of revenue from playing in the EPL but with Fernandes and Redknapp, we are well on course for an immediate return next year.

As for Cardiff City, if Tan sacks Mackay (which looks inevitable), they deserve to be relegated. This is no way to run an EPL club.

Many people including Tony (and me initially :o) had the impression that because Mark Hughes played for top clubs like Man Utd, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, worked under Fergie and had reasonable success with other BPL clubs, that he would be a successful manager at a newly promoted club, by getting the right mix of players (e.g. don't need Julio Cesar as the vastly expensive number one, Rob Green is good enough) and being a good tactician. But he isn't really good at either.
Managing a lower level BPL club or a championship club chasing promotion requires those 2 factors and much more than that.
