Team selection tonite should be interesting.

Italy have injury worries with Abate, De Rossi, Cassano. I think all will be passed fit.
Germany may bring back Gomez, Podolski and Muller to replace Klose, Reus, and Schurle. I think he may keep Reus.
Also injury doubt with Schweni but Loew claims he is 100% fit.

Just to add that I thought Jordi Alba played very well tonite. A world class full back.
Am not surprised that Barcelona are interested in signing him.

The Catalans confirm they have reached an agreement with Los Che over the transfer of the Spain international this summer, with the full-back ready to sign a five-year contract

Tonight's result really should be a no brainer. Germany to win in 90 mins.
They are the stronger team and have had 2 days extra rest than the Azzurri.

You will get pretty good odds if you bet on an Italian win.
it seems Germany has the upper hand but too early to say that. It might go into extra time.
imho, Germany does not have good stats against Italy.

Italy seems improving. they press hard, close down fast. show more hunger.
Boateng is the weakest link, he made the oppo too easy go pass him. the cross should not have went in with 3 defenders around.

2nd half will be exciting.

German defense switch off.
Schweinsteiger no form.
Gomez being marked tightly.
Midfield not compact enuff.
German show less hunger than Italians.

Gentle reminder to the Germany supporters (I'm neutral to both Germany and Italy):

Germany was thrashed by Switzerland in a pre-Euro friendly.

The Germany team is >50% Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich lost to Chelsea in the UCL final and lost both the Bundasliga title and DFB Pokal (German FA Cup) to Borussia Dortmund.

Second half will be exciting. Germany should bring on Schurrle, Muller and Klose.

Germans should switch to 2 strikers partnership. maybe link up the old pals again... Podolski & Klose.
Is there anyone to replace Schweinsteiger?
German needs a battling midfielder to break up Italians.

or play dirty means, made Balotelli red carded since he has 1 yellow card over his head.

eh seriously, German lost it. Sub Podolski for Reus.

Anyone saw the German auntie fan in the crowd? A tear rolled down her left eye when Balotelli scored. LOL!

Watch it quickly before UEFA takes it down again.
