Just when you think enough is enough, another white scum and his cahoots mourn his demise with eulogies so superb that only a saint may qualify of such praises.
People's Action Party cadres commemorate first anniversary of Lee Kuan Yew's death
The remembrance event was attended by 250 party activists and guests.
SINGAPORE: Mr Lee Kuan Yew's legacy is a successful Singapore that is "quietly confident of its future", said chairman of the People's Action Party (PAP) Central Executive Committee Khaw Boon Wan on Thursday (Mar 17).
"As a result of his meticulous planning and effective execution, his passing did not cause any jittery among investors or confidence among the people. There was widespread sadness, but there was no despair or helplessness. Singapore crossed a major milestone without any mishap. This is the hallmark of a great leader," said Mr Khaw.
He was speaking at a remembrance event at the PAP headquarters, to mark the first anniversary of Mr Lee’s death.
Mr Khaw, who is also the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Minister, also urged Singaporeans to continue to preserve Mr Lee’s legacies and to work hard to ensure Singapore’s continued relevance in the world.
"His principles and ideals will continue to inspire and guide us. He showed us the way forward, how to ensure Singapore’s relevance to the world full of surprises and risks," said Mr Khaw.
"We cannot predict the future, but we can prepare our people so that come what may, we can always prevail. The important thing is not to be complacent, and to dare to dream."
Mr Lee, who was the party's first founding Secretary-General and Singapore's first Prime Minister, died aged 91 on Mar 23 last year.

Members from the PAP Old Guard, like 76-year-old Ng Kah Ting, also paid tribute to Mr Lee. Mr Ng, who was MP for Punggol from 1963 to 1991, said that Mr Lee set "an extremely high standard of stewardship".
"He stood by the party’s ideals. He fought tooth and nail to make doubly sure for the party’s continued support from the people in the General Elections, but also Singapore’s continued survival and a secure future in this turbulent world," he said.

Also honouring Mr Lee was Young PAP activist, 32 year-old Nicole Peta Leong.
She noted that many Singaporeans of her generation were acquainted with Mr Lee only through textbooks.
“We need to continue to work hard to ensure that Singapore stays competitive on the world’s stage and continues to shine as a bright little red dot," she said.
"This will be our way of saying thank you to him for all that he has done for us. For uniting us as one united people, even in death.”
Memorabilia on display at the PAP headquarters
The event, attended by 250 party activists and guests, also saw the unveiling of a commemorative artillery shell casing, which was presented to the PAP on behalf of the Government of Singapore.
The 25-pounder shell casing was one of the rounds fired during the 21-gun salute at the Padang during Mr Lee's State Funeral last year.
A number of remembrance events have been held or are being planned in the lead up to Mar 23, including a book launch, and displays of the artillery shell casings fired during the State Funeral Procession.
From this weekend to Mar 27, the public can also visit three remembrance sites set up at Duxton Plain Park, Istana Park, and Parliament House.
