I cannot say there is any particular movie considered as best I had ever watched. I do recall watching "The House Of Wax" which frightened the devil out of me as it was real scary. Bro jw5, you should place a favourite in each genre in order to have a better selection. For romantic comedy I would say "50 First Dates," Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

"Colors", "boys and the hood" when I was still a student studying oversea. Follow up by "Platoon", "Apocalypse Now", "Silence of the Lamb", "bourne" trilogy, sorry too many good movies. Recently watched "the lovely bones" with my princess, telling her that this is not a perfect world!

Another type of movie...

Man Utd 8 Arsenal 2

Newcastle 4 Arsenal 4

Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5

Man Utd 1 Man City 6

sorry :o

My choice is Pulp Fiction. It was 3 hours long and yet I didn't feel it was long at all. Quentin Tarantino brought a very unconventional style of directing to that film and not long after become the norm.

Best anime count too? Spirited away quite a good anime. And dun forget the Lord of the Rings trilogy too.

That's one of the best movie ever made. The Oscar for best movie that year was clearly down to Pulp Fiction versus Forrest Gump and Forrest Gump won it. Forrest Gump was too sentimentally reminiscent of American heartlands past for Pulp Fiction to beat it. In any other year, Pulp Fiction would have won it.

The secret in their eyes and City of Gods, both latin films.. but very good plots... They were best in the sense that there was no need for mega casts to portray a well-written script.

Lately i watched moneyball by brad pitt, a film worth watching and The blindside is another worthy piece..

I like this because this hero Maximus or Maximos is a bit like me. I was also betrayed for righteousness sake. Once, God greeted me as "General" and I was tickled pink because I was greeted as "King" previously.

Please just name one

a toss up between "Rain Man" starring Dustin Hoffman & "I am Sam" starring Sean Penn.

given the last slot, i'd prefer "coffee & cigarette", thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Cate Blanchett :D:D:D

shudnt it b ...

2. bleu & brack ...
3. bu liao qing ...

Something like that, that is why ehenever I look at Majestic along Eu Tong Seng Street, it brings back memories! An uncle of mine, would bring me along whenever he wants to watch a Chinese movie, when I was young.

Red Sorghum - directed by Zhang YiMou and star Gong Li

I like those movie that people would fall asleep watching, sending a slow and powerful message.

In one scene a poor guy was asking for meat but was instead being thrown a hot steamy bones of an ox head. There are many other scenes that are equally captivating.
