Taxi driver falls to his death in Penang
ANOTHER man fell to his death in George Town barely 20 hours after a tuition teacher who had just turned 21 jumped from a five-storey building in Perak Road on Sunday.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the victim was a 28-year-old taxi driver identified as Koh Chee Hong. He was found dead at 362 Flat about 5pm.
Koh was not breathing when paramedics and police arrived at the scene.
It is learnt the victim’s sling bag was caught on an unit on the 18th floor.
Police found Koh’s driving licence and taxi driver permit as well as various call cards in his bag.
He hit a tree and a car before falling to the ground.
Koh’s body had been taken to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem.
