TanWahTiu proudest day. Singapore buys trans from China. 新加坡购买祖国火车

My Made in Tiongcock Tiger Rice Cooker exploded. No such problem with Made in Japan Tiger Rice Cooker.
Just wait for the Made in Tiongcock train to run a few years and you will see what I mean.
All the cheap Chinese brands electric appliances sold in Giant - DON'T TOUCH.

They don't last.

Many many years ago ... Japanese product had negative review ... today, their product stand shoulder to shoulder with the best. Not long ago, not many people trust the Korean car. We even joke about it. Fast forward today, we see a lot of Korean cars on the road. Today we may laugh at China or laugh at India's product ... we must realized that everyone start with point. Worst is no product at all to start with. It is a learning curve for all of us.

On the hindsight, I still have not come across any product from Matslime countries. Doesn't matter if it is crappy or low quality.

Have lah, those products from Malaysia and Indonesia are mostly food items, daily essentials and agricultural products such as your sauces, pastes and canned foods.

My 55-Inch PANASONIC 4K LED T.V. is from Indonesia. PANASONIC multi-split air-conditioners are also from Malaysia.

However, on the hind sight, I wonder if the Tiongs will operate like the Chao Koreans, ie: sell you cheaper for their products but charge you exorbitantly for their spare parts in future. Take SAMSUNG for example. My tenant used to have a SAMSUNG washing machine. When its water pump got spoiled, I checked with SAMSUNG Singapore at JEM, but they insisted that they will not sell the spare part to walk-in customers. No matter how, you have to engage for their technician to go on-site for evaluation and service. WTF?

My SHARP LED tv from Malaysia.
Yes, so is my other 32-Inch SHARP LCD T.V., but it's more than 10 years old already and still going strong, but I had to replace its front polarizer film by myself once before.

iPhone even though were built in China doesn't mean it is a China's product. Like wise for "Panasonic" from Indonesia and Malaysia.
Korean product like "Kia" was inferior initially. Thru trial and error, they improve and innovate. The main issue is the Korean able to start some product on their own. This was realised by the Japanese initially ... followed by Korea/Taiwan ... now China .... maybe India later ...

Korean cars still have issues wrt to their engine and gearbox. Gearbox prone to overheating as its a dct. Same like vw but vw mannaged to overvome these issues.

Malays will not waste time competing with established players. We just sell our oil and gas plus palm oil. And play guitar. Less stressful. Chinese, japanese snd korean if they chose the right faith, will not have to work so hard.
