Have lah, those products from Malaysia and Indonesia are mostly food items, daily essentials and agricultural products such as your sauces, pastes and canned foods.
My 55-Inch PANASONIC 4K LED T.V. is from Indonesia. PANASONIC multi-split air-conditioners are also from Malaysia.
However, on the hind sight, I wonder if the Tiongs will operate like the Chao Koreans, ie: sell you cheaper for their products but charge you exorbitantly for their spare parts in future. Take SAMSUNG for example. My tenant used to have a SAMSUNG washing machine. When its water pump got spoiled, I checked with SAMSUNG Singapore at JEM, but they insisted that they will not sell the spare part to walk-in customers. No matter how, you have to engage for their technician to go on-site for evaluation and service. WTF?
