I think if he really wins in a freak election, it will be the first time I am ever going to visit the Istana, LOL.
The previous elected presidents are too affiliated with PAP and so out of touch with commoners that no one in the right frame of mind would want to visit, except his cronies, PA members or tourists, LOL.
Saddest truth is, TKL is the only hope for Singapore's president to really be able to unify all Singaporeans from all walks of life together as he is able to mingle freely and empathize with commoners making people feel at ease to approach him without the usual VIP bodyguards threat that you get from former presidents or PAP MPs doing their walkabouts.

If you look at most Oppo clowns like Tan Cheng Bock and Tan Kin Lian, u will see that they both have an overinflated ego of what their powers and worth are.
Take Tan Cheng Bock. He ain’t no messiah. He was reaping the benefits from his ties with PAP for donkey years. It’s only in his old frail years that he ‘suddenly’ saw the light and decided to switch to Oppo parties. Now we all know no smoke without fire. Only he himself know why it took him so many years to find a conscience.
As for Tan Kin Lian. A sec 4 dropout who rode on the PAP coattails and somehow got appointed to lead Income which has ties with PAP (more strongly than other insurance outfits) and likewise took decades to see the light.
Notice the similarity? Both fuckers benefited from PAP’s links for decades before turning around to bite the hand that fed them. Traitors usually have a unique DNA about them that don’t just disappear over time.

He speaks with a slight lisp hence likely a birth defect since young. It's quite common to find such people everywhere. So be more empathetic and dun disturb people la.

I am not asking or indicating that the candidates should be perfect, but for an individual who attended an English language school, he should speak better than that, and have better pronunciation.

These machines, similar to those used to handle and count banknotes, raise the efficiency of the counting process.
Subsequently, the sample count will be released to the media and published on ELD’s website, while counting is still in progress.
As this is a sample count, the election result could be different.
The public should still wait for the returning officer’s announcement to know the election result, ELD said.

Actually to be fair to him. Having attended English language school doesn't mean English will be good or expected to be good.
I too was from English stream school, and shy to say my English is worse than tkl and I even failed my gce O level english Especially at his age and not highly educated, his current English skills to me is considered powerful already.
Simply put... a military soldier can only raise through rank and file to be BG from the military organisation.
LHL also raise to PMship from his father regime... and his raise in BGs rank and file also from his father....
Even so if LHL was a sec4 drop-out he could also raise to PMship through his father regime.... same same lah...
