Not forgetting the unhealthy relationship that developed between PA's Laura Ong and PAP's Micheal Palmer. And grassroot leaders have nothing to be upset about because a similar relationship developed between grassroots leader Wendy Lim and PAP's David Ong.

I recalled when I was still a little boy, PAP leaders have always been boasting loud and clear about the critical role played by the PA in bringing the people and the government closer. But then this government perennially is the PAP government! By adding another P, PA becomes PAP. Truly symbiotic relationship! In recent years, this relationship between grassroots activists(invariably also PAP members) and their elected PAP MPs has become even much closer and in some cases; sexual as well. Grassroots leaders should rejoice at the very close and intimate relationship. In fact it flatters them!

But PAP will never lose control of the government. The opposition can barely win 10 seats, let alone around 50 seats ,which is needed to take over 100% control of the government. Even when that happens, you will still find PAP cadres in high places, and cannot be replaced unless their term is up or if the President agrees to fire them, which he almost certainly won't.
