Lemme point out a couple of things:
1. Laws of energy conservation
2. Laws of thermodynamics

Wanna be environmentally friendly? Walk.

batteries achieve around 70-80% efficiency from base source of energy. vs 30-40% for gasoline.

Walking is not friendly to the pockets of the special interests who wants to push climate alarmism and the green industry onto you.

It's externalising the costs to the environment. In the ev biz plan, it does not consider proper disposal so there's not way it will. Never think thru.

Comparatively mild hybrid makes more sense for batteries to be supplementary to use petrol more effectively while minimizing the battery footprint needed. The likes of mazda

NEA also made our local waste processing companies to help major appliances brands (with regional HQ in Singapore) import and dispose wastes from their ASEAN manufacturing hubs in Singapore.

Nothing is totally environmentally harmless. EV batteries are only partially recyclable whilst the rest remains toxic to the environment. Power to charge the EVs if come from oil fired power plants are also not going to benefit much, worse still if from coal fired power plants Even if they are from nuclear powered plants, there are nuclear wastes to be disposed off and these can still remain radioactive for thousands of years thereafter.

A sneak preview what your globalist/communist/satanist masters have planned for you:

For electric vehicles... they probably belong to number 11, 12 and 13. Maybe number 7 too, if you assume non-carbon and non-fossil = clean.

EVs being environmentally friendly or not is irrelevant to me. The fact is that the running costs is much lower n protects my hip pocket is all that matters. N this environmental issue can b solved by having a proper recycling industry like for scrap cars. But gahmen failure to plan has bought about this problem. So don't blame the EV.

EV cars are not environment friendly, a hybrid car is much better. It never fails you if you are driving in a big country. Unless countries have recycling plant for the batteries like Japan, EV cars then at least got its advantages.
