Singapore has a deep and multifaceted relationship with the US. Besides traditional areas like defence and trade, our relationship has also expanded to include new and forward-looking frontiers such as climate and the digital economy.
Glad to welcome the US Congressional Delegation, comprising Representative Rick Larsen David Schweikert and Donald Norcross. Congressmen Larsen and Schweikert are also the cochairs of the bipartisan congressional singapore caucus.
I shared about the growth opportunities in ASEAN and we agreed on the importance of the US’ continued engagement of the region. Look forward to working with them to advance the close partnership between our two countries.

Trying out the first EV charging station at Our Limbang estate! This is at the carpark at 573A Choa Chu Kang Street 52.
More will be rolled out in due course. Even better, the charging provider Charge+ is a home-grown company which developed its own proprietary ultra-slim charger — very suitable for our compact and high-density built environment!

Celebrating 75 years of 4PM! From cultivating a generation of young Malay/Muslim activists and leaders, to uplifting the community, the Malay Youth Literary Association 4PM has made valuable contributions to Singapore.
Empowering the community cannot be done through government programmes alone. We need active involvement from organisations like 4PM and its volunteers. This is an example of a partnership that we try to encourage through Forward SG - to ensure everyone plays a part in our society and our future.
Let's continue working together to build strong communities.

Delighted to join Desmond Lee at the West Coast food centre. I visited it more frequently in the past when I was part of the West Coast GRC team. So it’s good to be back and see many familiar faces!
We were there with DBS and Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore teams to engage and reach out to residents, especially our seniors, and equip them with digital skills. Many thanks also to DBS for rolling out a series of measures to help lower-income families with their cost of living concerns, including hawker and transport rebates, and ways to save more.
