Pleased to chair the Monetary Authority of Singapore's International Advisory Panel meeting in person again this year. With international travel resuming normalcy, it was good to see both new and familiar faces who have travelled to Singapore to join us for this annual gathering to discuss key issues pertinent to Singapore’s financial sector.
I enjoyed the candid exchange of ideas on the growth strategies set out in Singapore’s Financial Services Industry Transformation Map 2025, the role of finance in accelerating Singapore and Asia’s transition to net zero, and how technology can be leveraged to shape the future of financial networks. I thank the IAP members for their invaluable insights in shaping Singapore’s efforts to strengthen our position as a leading financial centre in Asia.
