Simple Question on Big Bang

actually....

being a biologist by training, me actually questioned myself back then on the following:
could our Universe be created from the fusion of two or more primeval atoms? plausible?
heheh...

heheh...

something happened then, one day maths and physics will guide us there.

organic synthetic chemist by training, but i have no idea why i love to read up on theoretical physicist work LOL.

seems like i drawn out a lot of scientists/maths by training here from this discussion LOL

as what Bill Maher has coined the term for modern day religious believers' cognitive state as "intellectually lazy."

The irony, given that this thread starts off as a troll bait. ;) I do love the discussion so far.

me learning so much from you folks! danke! time to see if there are any opening for a slot for further studies... :p:p:p

It is you who do not understand basic physical laws my friend

last noted, there's Classical Physics (Newton's era) and there's Quantum Physics (Einstein's era). ever since Einstein came up with the special relativity theory after the miraculous year (1905), it has never been the same. folks are already looking into quantum computing, and perhaps even bio-computing in our current day and age. yes, me don't negate the fact that Classical Physics is the foundation, being inquisitive enough, the scientist wants to know more.

Vacuum is energy. asking where energy came from is like asking where vacuum came from. it itself is already there, you no need to create anything to have vacuum. this is the last time i am going to say this

what was there before there was space? :*::*::*:

here's some diagrammatic illustrations of the theorized big bang event.

quantum mechanics, one of the pioneer was erwin schrodinger followed by werner heisenberg and nel bohr.
i cant remember but einstein wasn't part of the pioneering group in quantum mechanics, i'm most likely to be wrong, but he died while trying to find the unifying theory aka theory of everything. only till the days of stephen hawkings did he collaborated with roger penrose to form the current knowledge of what we know of today; from m-theory to the current state of the universe.

ah... thanks for the lead, bro :):):)

think me got it correctly linked, quantum mechanics is indeed linked to A.Einstein :o:o:o

the foundations of quantum mechanics were established during the first half of the 20th century by Niels Bohr, Werner Heisenberg, Max Planck, Louis de Broglie, Albert Einstein, Erwin Schrödinger, Max Born, John von Neumann, Paul Dirac, Wolfgang Pauli, David Hilbert, and others.

A.Einstein's contribution came mainly from the photo-electric effect if me understand correctly, 4 big papers floored most of the scientific community in that miraculous year :):):)

that's according to wiki and the some readings me had done on A.Einstein.

to add i think you should not miss out these 2. they are the father of quantum mechanic

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Born <--teacher of heisenberg. without his help and interpretation heisenberg uncertainty principle will not be around

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Dirac <---improved on schrodinger equation, yah its named dirac equation. that equation predict the possibility of having anti-particle (which at that time no one has observed it yet). strange enough instead of discarding the "nonsensical" solution, he consider them valid and there you have it, our anti-particle prediction

heheh... me is extremely amused by Schrodinger and his cat :D:D:D
