I REFER to recent letters, including Mr Clinton Lim's ('Don't bark up the wrong tree'; March 15) and Mr Eugene Tan's (''Intense Asian experience''; March 15).
We are heartened that the launch of YourSingapore has generated interest and a healthy debate.
We agree with Mr Lim that the Singapore brand is world renowned for efficiency, integrity, safety and lately, leisure and entertainment; as well as Mr Tan's point that Singapore offers an intense Asian experience to visitors. These attributes form the essence of YourSingapore.
Indeed, Singapore has gained a strong reputation worldwide for its accessibility, efficiency, safety and convenience. In Singapore, everything works well. These are our unique strengths and they are what set us apart from other destinations.
Singapore's concentration of sights, sounds, tastes, cultures and attractions is packed into a compact, user-friendly, comfortable and accessible space. It is so easy to experience the richness of Singapore with everything well within reach.
